In Stock, really?????

I ordered a small 'in-stock' item that was delivered in an envelope so no carrier required. It took 7 days to come! I suspect it was not in stock at all :/

SERVICE EXCELLENT, IF ONLY THEY WOULD ANSWER EMAILS!!!.

I ordered a garden arch for a Anniversary present and was getting a bit worried as I hadn't received a despatch email, I emailed DIY TOOLS to ask if item had infact been despatched, no reply, but item did arrive the following day. I am really pleased with item, and the service but I would have liked to know item was on its way!!!.

Difficult to communicate

After e bay acknowledging the order nothing heard for three days when a "your order has been despatched" e mail arrived.
Prior to this an e-mail was unacknowledged and a phone call unanswered.
Left feeling in limbo until the first contact and goods arrived fine next day despite 2nd class delivery postage.
Compared to recent purchases with other sources DIY tools need to be more communicative

Decent product, but poor service and delivery

My order which was showing as in stock took almost four weeks to arrive. I was not kept informed of progress, and when I called to chase there was no acknowledgement of an issue or apology. Finally the goods (cork tiles) arrived wrapped in a plastic bag - so a couple were broken and unusable. Luckily I had ordered to allow for mistakes - I don't think I could have faced dealing with DIY Tools again. I don't think it's malicious - just the staff seemly poorly advised and maybe just don't care?! The cork tiles that I could use were as per the website and seem decent enough.

Good product and good communication.

I looked everywhere for thick cork tiles to use as a pinboard - these were the only ones I could find thick enough (at 8mm) to hold a pin. They look great and do the job perfectly. Only minor niggle was that they took a while to arrive - however, got an email explaining reason for delay so can't complain too much. Price very reasonable compared to other cork tiles I've seen, so very happy.

I was very pleased when I found this item online. It seemed reasonably priced so I decided to purchase it. I was very happy with the service I received, it came quite quickly and was even delivered through the letterbox (despite being very long).. so it saved me having to go and pick it up at a later date! Thank you.

Disappointed and Concerned

I ordered a Bosch Art 26 Li cordless grass trimmer on September 11th. After 4 weeks I had heard nothing so I tried to call but the telephone was never answered. I e-mailed but got no response. Finally I got through to an advisor who was very helpful and told me that this product would not be available for another 4-5 weeks. In the meantime the money had already been taken from my account. After a wait of 2 months the products finally arrived in a very tatty box taped with celotape i.e. it had obviously been opened / possibly a return. When we tested the product it started smoking badly and sent shavings of plastic everywhere. This product was returned by courier on the 16th November. I have since been told that I may have to wait up to 30 days for a refund which is disgraceful considering they took my money in October. I am seriously considering making a formal complaint. I have tried to call them again and they keep cutting me off. All in all a disaster.
