a little too keen to send out requests for review

With good site navigation and ordering routine I was initially very pleased with the service provided. Half the order arrived very promptly a week ago, but I have yet to see the rest. At the same time I have had two emails pestering me for a review!

I am writing this to (hopefully) stop the automated requests. I would have telephoned DIYTools to make this comment privately - but there are no contact details on the site that I could see - so this rather public method seems to be the only way of getting this minor complaint back to the company

irritated

I ordered goods from DIY tools in plenty of time to ensure they were delivered before my carpenter arrived.
Firstly only part of the order arrived and the part that did arrive was incorrect.
Secondly the remaining parts have still not arrived.

My carpenter charged me for his time and left.

I am very irritated

5 Star rating for a 5 Star Company

I ordered a Compact Walk-in Greenhouse inc. shelving, along with a replacement cover for my existing W I Greenhouse, which I purchased about 4 years ago and now requires a new cover. I was very impressed when the items were delivered a couple of days later. Brilliant service. Before ordering, I researched prices from other Companies and here too, DIY Tools came out tops. I would have no hesitation in recommending DIY Tools to anyone. Well done to you all.

BAD Service-Heater fine except for VERY short cord-in the end is it worth it!

Delivery took over two weeks rather than 2-3 days and no one contacted me to tell me there was a delay-nor answered my emails -had to call twice to get them to update me on the problem. They should have offered to refund my delivery charges.

Their attitude is lazy and dismissive-so if they go out of business and try to blame the recession-its not true-its their crap service!

Frankly Ive come to the conclusion that buying online in the UK is very hit and miss and to be avoided when possible.

Heater itself is fine, except for bizarrely, the shortest cord I've yet come across on an electrical appliance.

OK (just about)

It took about five weeks (and a few telephone calls) for delivery of a garden spade to France. An additional cost of 10 pounds was required for this, though it wasn't mentioned at the time of ordering. However, it did eventually arrive OK. The Draper stainless steel spade? - no problems.

The worst company I have ever dealt with

Ordered an air diffuser for a fridge freezer that was to be delivered in 5 days. Payment was taken immediately 5th September. I was then contacted on the 14th of September and told that they would be in a position to ship the order in 7-10 days. I heard nothing till the 9th of October when I had another email informing me that they would not have the part in until the 10th of December so I would receive it after this 31/2 MONTHS after I placed the order. As it was for a fridge/freezer I got the part from another company within a week. I have tried to contact DIY tools on numerous occasions by phone and it just rings out tried for 4 hours one day hitting redial still no answer that in itself tells you what type of company this is. I have tried email and still no reply so next stop is trading standards. Incidentally the part turned up in the middle of November a full 21/2 months after ordered still heard nothing from them they obviously advertise products that they don't have in stock and make delivery claims over which they have no control.

Excellent Service

This is my first purchase from DIY Tools and, if I wanted to, I could not fault them on both the quality of their goods and their service. I will certainly use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Order tool over a week to arrive.

My oven broke, I ordered elements which took over a week to arrive. I called to explain I had visitors at the weekend and it would be really helpfull if they could arrive before the weekend which was promised. However they arrived the following week. No Sunday roast or birthday cake in our house!
