First time shopping for DJ equipment

First time shopping for DJ equipment, I read loads online but after speaking to the shop I was encouraged to come in and get hands on. The level of service was great, they took me through all the steps and allowed me to demo the equipment for a considerable time. The shop were patient with me and the level of knowledge the lead sales man had was amazing. I would really encourage anyone to get in contact with this team, they really sorted me out and will make sure I come back in the future.

Great company, energetic & knowledgeable staff

Used DJKIT for many years and have always had great service from the team in Newbury. I have read about what has happened over the last few months and I am so glad they are back up and running again. Love the new branding and after my telephone call today I genuinely am excited and pleased to be part of their journey as a customer. Top class boys and girls and keep it going 👍

Absolutely awful service

Absolutely awful service - criminal even - avoid at all costs - I purchased an item from them last year, which they failed to deliver - I am still having to chase for a refund from the finance company now for payments they have taken from me - with threats of being given a bad credit rating if I don’t upkeep future payments on something I never received. DJ Kit are not taking ownership of the mess they have created and are leaving me to take it up with the finance company directly to resolve - scandalous - a total scam! Shop elsewhere if you don’t want to be ripped off / have money taken from you for nothing.

Placed an order late December

Placed an order late December, got a phone call next day for my deposit and they informed me my finance has been approved. I then received a message saying I would receive my goods week commencing 6th January. It’s now 3rd April still not received! Not even a phone call from them! I have called numerous times, only automated answer phone message! I’ve left messages still no contact from them! Also I have made payments for the finance, which should not have been taken till I received my goods! Dodgy company if you ask me!

Superb Customer Service

Ordered a DJS1000 from DJKIT. They confirmed it was in stock and then sent it. Arrived the next day as promised.
Once again all the staff at DJKIT were helpful and kept me updated on the order. I was also given a refund for another item that was promptly dealt with.
First class service from DJKIT.
The new website is very good, if there's something not on there you want I would recommend contacting them by email as they may be able to source it for you.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

They don't trade anymore but are still taking orders, then sending you emails saying they've posted you're items when the haven't, no way of contacting them, they also removed my account so now I can't see any info on there website, I've tried to renew my password but it's saying my email is invalid.

Non responsive and potentially ceased operating

Similar to Paul Brown, I have not had some goods delivered from an August 2024 order and despite many promises to deliver I eventually tried to cancel outstanding items. As my items used finance I have asked for the balance to be cancelled down, despite multiple phone calls this have not been done.

On Monday 10th February the phone lines now appear down, replaced with an automated message mentioning new ownership and website chat function is not operational. My impression is that they are a business struggling or insolvent, deliberately misled me and knowlingly had no money to offer refunds.

I also notice on Companies house that the business has missed a deadline for filing accounts dating back to November 2024.

I hope potential customers find this guidance and would suggest avoiding this company at all costs.

Do not buy from this company. Fraudsters!!

I placed an order for a £2k controller in December last year. DJKit continuously kept changing the delivery date further and further, so I cancelled the order in early January. I still haven't received my refund. I've tried contacting them via email and phone calls but have been ignored.

I managed to finally speak to a DJKit employee on Monday who promised the refund would be in my bank account that same day. It is now Friday, and still no refund. The phone lines don't work, and my emails are being ignored again.

According to Companies House, the company is listed as a non-trading entity, yet the website still allows you to place an order.
