Staff very friendly, products were available and at a reasonable price.

Disappointed to see the cafe is so limited now. Such potential, good seating available and a new outdoor area but the coffee is now in a take away cup and there are only a few wrapped cakes and bars. Such a missed opportunity, when other garden centres have expanded their cafe facilities offering light snacks and meals, the Beaconsfield Dobbies offers tea and coffee in paper cups and very little else. I don't understand the logic behind this business model!

It was a visit purely to grab a coffee (although we did subsequently make a small purchase).
Initially there was no-one at the cafe counter. When someone arrived they weren’t the friendliest. Two cappuccinos ordered. Chocolate sprinkled on both without asking. Not a major issue but I prefer mine without. Small takeaway cup despite us drinking on site.
This was a free drink against my membership. If I’d had to pay for it (£3 each) I’d have been disgusted at the lack of value for money

Cafe even smaller but good service.

I was disappointed they the cafe has been reduced as wanted a snack with my cuppa .

The garden centre has been changed lots of different products, It is clean and tidy and very light. The cashier was polite and helpful, The car park has changed with lots of disabled parking nearest to the entrance, There is a big carpark on the opposite side of the road which is easy to access, [ if you have a laden trolley someone will help you across the road as there are 2 small kerbs to negotiate , ]

Staff here are always friendly and helpful.
They have a ready welcoming smile.
If your looking for a specific plants they will find it for you.
I would recommend this garden centre.

Excellent help from indoor staff member on choice of plant to use in given situation including looking up toxicity for animals. Also made enquiry on availability of cast iron plant.

I wanted to buy square suet and mealworm tablet bird food for my container. I bought what was left on the shelf. It was not full of mealworms and I did not want to buy the ball type of bird food as I would have had to buy a new container. There was no other option. I shall go to the Pet Stores next time.

Beaconsfield branch has a good selection of plants, and pots, with very good service from most of the team.

Wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants, as well as gardening needs. A relaxing place.

Usually I am disappointed with Dobbies but actually had a good experience yesterday. Had a very helpful member of staff find the price of a product and with my Dobbies plus card saved a further 20% so excellent value.
Also had an enjoyable cup of coffee and slice of cake in the coffee shop.

Helpful staff - giving assistance to get 50L compost bags into car. There was no stock of bug sprays for diseased plants - only preventive treatments available.

Great display of plants in various size pots and packs, fair prices although on some plants difficult to find a price.

Tried to get a propane gas refill to have a BBQ. DOB bids is my local supplier.
The container had the big red bottles, but I was told it was no longer supplied/stocked.

The manager got quite rude. There was nothing he could do, even though he had stocks of Patio gas, which is Propane. I left with a flea in my ear.

Fortunately Bourne End Marina stepped in and helped.

Enjoyed our day out at Beaconsfield got everything I wanted

We loved the fact we bought an Acer in the sale
It is doing well
Also bought two lovely streptocapus
