Would have been a 5 star review, but queuing at the tills were long in store as well as the cafe. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and the ranges of plants were good. Nice selection of interior products to. I like the membership services they have but the wait for your drinks is way to long

Very pleased with the variety and price of the plants available. Also for the customer service which is outstanding.

The staff are lovely and it dog friendly so always good to visit. It's pretty pricey but the products are generally good

Most things I buy from Dobbies are good but......
I bought some seed compost last year which which looks like bits of bark mixed with hay. My strike rate for seeds was predictably poor, however, weeds seeds were already in the mixture which I have had to remove. I have now used it as a mulch. Avoid the compost!

There is a huge choice of plants and staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe is always clean with tables available.

The content of the store is very good, and quality. But it is SO expensive. I've been in there and been told by other customers to go to another garden centre which is much cheaper! E.g. a bird fat ball log costs £4.50 just for one, and there are so few discounts! I spend huge amounts of money each visit and it can't continue.

Also you have stopped the Blue Light Card for NHS staff. This is awful and the store is across from a hospital. Colleagues such as myself as nurses, are choosing not to shop there now because of this.

As always, the establishment was well stocked, well laid out and staffed by helpful, knowledgeable people.

Come here often either for shopping or in the restaurant always pleasant and polite staff and happy to help with my needs

Great choice of plants, constantly being updated, and kept in good condition. The cafe's not bad either! My friend and I often pop in for a coffee and leave with a trolley full of bedding plants!

I was looking for a pot plant spray and invigorator, your assistant helped me efficiently.
Again when I paid the assistant was very efficient.
All the people I dealt with were the youngest I have ever seen in the shop and they were great, helpful but also smiling, what joy I hope it continues.

My only reservation was the shortage of staff in the store.

Garden centre great choices & healthy plants. Restaurant disappointing options for cakes and a large queue.When shopping found a broken terracotta garden pot ( no others the same or I would have bought) - asked for a discount & the lady said 'that will just be binned' but offered 10% off (50pence)- which I obviously declined- ( would have been happy to pay 1/2 price)-What a waste!!! Would prefer to send to landfill than sell!! Disappointing attitude - certainly didn't impress me as a customer.
