Beautiful garden centre, but the cafe & restaurant are a joke… Not enough staff, poor service from some already there… Waited in line for tea, coffee and cake for over 15 minutes, whilst staff in the restaurant part were stood around chatting!… Been in twice this week and had the same service both times…

Visited garden centre and restaurant. Again, for third successive time, disappointed with the restaurant. We were seated quite quickly, however after 20 mins we left as no staff had been to our table to take our order, not even for drinks - there appeared to be no order in which tables were served as people arriving after us were served. Garden centre was satisfactory.

Queueing for 30 minutes for our drinks (and cake of course!). We do know this always takes quite a chunk out of our day but that the staff do their best with just one coffee machine. We were ordering tea, but of course preparing coffees for people further up the queue hampered things.

The cutlery available was sparse as were the crockery items but I am constantly baffled that the staff will go and get one of these items from the kitchen or other serving area rather than a tray full. I guess it's because the dishwashing process isn't finished as mostly the items proferred are not dry

The milk for our hot drinks was put in cardboard cups ...plus we left a lot as we were given far too much. So very wasteful.
There were 2 staff on the drinks area, and a further 2 in the meal servery. Surely the latter could be deployed to clear tables in both areas so there was a better turnover of crockery and cutlery?
The general feeling in the queue was that these poor staff are not trained as well as they used to be ....I am not saying this is the case but please value your staff Dobbies ..... they are very likeable and cheerful people but do not seem to understand how best to work efficiently .
Up until last year there was often a manager about, but we never see one now

Only one person ever serves coffee as there is only one machine. Huge cue so 20/30 minutes for a drink.
Left and went elsewhere which is a shame

Large barrows left in the open - full of rainwater.

It’s a really nice store that we visit quite often

The coffee voucher had not renewed on my card.
The plant I bought was supposed to be £17 for club members I was charged £19 full price.
If Dobbies does not improve it will lose customers support.
Not enough disabled parking.

Dobies cirencester is a garden centre with a good selection of plants , the staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant food is excellent.

Visited Dobbies so often over years. Recent visit was a real disappointment!! It was obvious a new employee was on coffee bar, she needed constant advice/help and so had to constantly call guy doing coffees, making service so slow. Someone else needed to be helping her. Once we had finally been served, the scone was worst ever (always enjoyed Dobbies scones) and cutlery was dirty, took a while to find clean !!! Not a good experience and will avoid Dobbies coffee shop for a while.

There is a well stocked well set out shop area. For the time of the year the plants were quite good. The restaurant was cosy with a nice menu

Great service, kept up to date regarding delivery.

The store had everything to offer, added bonus of Lakeland and Waitrose. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Still didn’t get my birthday treat from April very difficult to get hold of anyone from sustained service

A delicious afternoon tea. The lady serving us was very helpful and attentive and the food was very good. We weren't able to eat it all but we were able to take the remainder home in a box. Compared with many other venues the price is very reasonable.
