Nothing bad to say! The shop could keep me there for hours there’s so much to see! Well presented clean and smells lovely.

The garden centre and shop are very good, however, the cafe/restaurant service is atrocious. Also, too many dogs allowed in restaurant.

Restaurant waiter not very good. Didn't seem to know what was going on. Tried to deliver our food to wrong table. Then when I asked for cutlery only brought me some.

very helpful staff in the garden centre, got what we wanted and 20% off as well.

Disappointed that the one Xmas tree I wanted wasn’t in stock. It was available in another store but could not be sent to Dunfermline store

I had fish and chips in the restaurant. The fish was quite dry and may have been kept warm for some time. Apart from that all good

Visited the Dunfermline Branch and found all staff helpful and friendly. Staff busy putting out .Christmas display but this didn’t interfere with my visit

Visited this morning during the 20% off promotion. The queue for the restaurant for coffee was huge, it appeared that Dobbies had chosen this day to change one of the coffee machines - the poor staff were really struggling but to their credit kept smiling and kept pliéing on. Of course not a manager in sight. Then having seen a Christmas tree which we liked and planned to buy wasn’t in stock - really? Why put it on the shop floor then!

Experience fine but staff need to be more watchful in restaurant for customers wanting to pay.

Very rude staff in the cafe. No one was on the meet and greet station and I went looking for staff to ask where the dog tables were. Her response was very curt and I was told very abruptly I couldn't just charge through the restaurant (which I had no intention of doing anyway) but would have to go out and round and in the back way. Having done this we took a seat, decided what we wanted to eat and then I went to join the queue. Having reached the head of the queue I was told it was table service!! I went back to table and no one had been to take our order and every time we tried to catch the waitress's (Isobel) attention (the same one as I had spoken to earlier) she blatantly turned away. After a very long wait we decided to leave and as we stood to put on jackets she came over and took out order - just in the nick of time. Not the service we expect at Dobbies and would think twice about returning to the Dunfermline store. There were no signs to say it was table service and the pet friendly area was not obvious from the restaurant entry area. Perhaps a look at the signage around the area is required.

Great store . Has a pretty good selection . Restarant and cafe in-store . Friendly and helpful staff. What more can you ask.

Found what we wanted and check out assistant so nice too

Had coffee then went to sainsbury to look at pies but all out of date next day. Disappointing

Popped in for a coffee and scone. It was very nice. I tried to ignore all the Christmas stuff and just looked at Cotton Traders and Sainsbury's. I don't like Christmas in September.
