A lot of the plants are not well looked after. Some that have been reduced would have remained healthy if they had been properly watered. If the plants had been looked after better there would have been no need to reduce the price.
The staff are friendly and very helpful.
The cafe could have the menu placed on the wall rather than 'paper menus'. If on the wall people can make up their minds before arriving at the till and not create a queue by looking over the menu at the counter. It holds the service up. Also it is important to remember that we are still in Covid times and the constant handling of paper menus cannot be sensible. The price of the drinks in the cold cabinet are overpriced considering that there is a Sainsbury's adjacent to the cafe within the store. Perhaps a review of prices would be in order and comparable prices charged to drinks available in the Sainsbury's section.
I have always found that Dobbies is a well run and organised garden centre, the prices are reasonable and the 'club card' worth the money.
The fact that you now provide a recycling facility for plastic plant pots and compost bags. This needs to be publicised more. We only found out about it whilst in store.

Good garden centre with good staff all round

Please visit to Bath Road, Hare Hatch centre with grandkids, had coffe and cake, unfortunately that’s all could be provided as no other food available and disposable cups, not ideal but did not stop our enjoyment as cakes are delicious 😊

This really is a great place to go, the prices are reasonable and the food was great, very friendly and helpful staff.
As garden centres go the best around here by miles

I love Dobbies! The staff are friendly and helpful, the plants are excellent, they have all the tools and gardening items you need and, to top it all, a first class cafe!

The free tea/coffee is appreciated when you have breakfast / lunch at Dobbies Hare Hatch. Most time the fried fish was crispy with very ight batter and not overcooked - keep up the excellent recipe (& try not to get it too greasy)

When you had problems with the rewards/points that were processed at the Till the Rewards Customer Support Desk is very good and responsive - Cheers for the Excellent Service!

Good selection of BBQs and big pots and trellis. Efficient young man on cashier duty.

Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Stock is better than my last visit - the plants look healthy and in good condition

Plenty of choice at Hare Hatch. Lovely food in the restaurant at reasonable prices. Checkout personnel are very friendly.

Dobbies on the A4 east of Reading had a good selection of plants and the ambience of the place was good. However they had no decaffeinated coffee.

The staff at Dobbies are always very welcoming and friendly, especially in the restaurant and on the tills. The store is always very clean and choice of plants is good.

Staff helpful, however, they had to struggle to renew my membership in store. Finally did it. A simpler system is needed.

Food was very enjoyable, good plant selection also
