Dobbies Garden Centres - Havant Reviews 401

This is my favourite garden centre but the last few visits to the restaurant have been worrying. The food and coffee are good but sadly there are far too few staff. On the latest visit there was only one person serving and one trying to clear tables, clean the softplay etc. The staff are all very friendly and efficient but they looked completely shattered. Having worked in a restaurant environment I know how physically draining it can be. PLEASE get some more staff before you lose the ones you have and your customers.

Found the seeds I wanted and picked up a few bits in the Sainsbury's section, plus we had a drink in the cafe. All fine.

Pleasant store and cafe, however prices are quite high especially as we are all finding it difficult at this time. It would be good to see some really good offers, maybe garden product at the end of the summer.

Booked an hour in the fun zone soft play for my grand children on a rainy day. They had an hour chasing around while I had a chat with mum catching up over a cup of tea. Followed up with drinks and lunch which was cooked to order and beautifully presented at the table. The kids meals and drinks were free as we had ordered from the main menu. I used my two free monthly drinks as a club member. We arrived at 10,20am and had a relaxing time, playing eating and shopping leaving at 2pm. A happy family outing.

Had a lovely breakfast and bought some great value bulbs.

I like visiting Dobbies as they have a good range of stuff. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

This is a very clean friendly place to go & the staff are happy to help, we loved our walk round lots of great flowers to buy well stocked good prices ,,, great coffee

we enjoy going to our Garden Centre, usually come home with more than we ewent for, also having had a little something in Cafe. Makes a pleasant outing.

A very well stocked garden centre with plenty of choice of first class plants, garden tools, bird food and containers and many unusual gifts.
I thought adding a small Sainsbury's shop is very useful but not well advertised as you just stumble into it whilst walking around the Centre .
All the Staff are very helpful …well done

paid £15 for glorfied primrose. which died 24hours later.

Very good love to walk to Havant garden center

Unfortunately the restaurant in Havant Debbie’s never seems to have all the dishes offered on the menu. The dishes on the “summer specials” menu are very appealing but none of them were available. This happens every time we visit for lunch - I don’t know why they bother putting the menus out. On this occasion it was 12.30 pm on a Tuesday and the restaurant wasn’t terribly busy. In addition, service is very, very slow. The food that they do serve tastes very good, but there is a limited selection.
