Dobbies Garden Centres - Havant Reviews 401

I really enjoy travelling to my nearest Dobbies which is 16 miles away because they have a good selection of everything to do with the garden, not only plants. There is a lovely pet store and the restaurant is really brilliant. The staff are all so kind and polite and really very helpful. It is a shame that there is no longer a Cotton Traders outlet there and I don't use the Sainsburys Food Hall - pointless ! I go to find presents at Christmas Time and all through the year to buy plants/seeds or garden equipment. We often stop in the restaurant for a lovely, moderately priced lunch and beverage because of the staff being so lovely and the restaurant being so clean.

First visit as a club member. Purchased some discounted bedding plants. Staff struggled in identifying my card membership in the sytem but sprnt the time to resolve this. Well done !!

It was Nice but we would’ve liked the offer for the afternoon tea for my birthday 2 for £20 when we got there the staff said we had to book 24 hours in advance - very disappointing.
How long does it take to prepare a few sandwiches and put a scone and cake and a plate?!

The staff both in the cafe and on the til were friendly and helpful, I was pleased with a couple of sale plants I bought and coffee in the outside area was very pleasant. A really enjoyable afternoon

Went there for coffee/tea and cakes. Also bought a number of plants for our new garden. Efficient and friendly service on all counts.

Visited the cafe as usual, very god selection and as usual friendly staff.
Also used the new plastic pot recycling scheme ..so pleased to finally find one.

The staff are always helpful and courteous.

All good in shop.
Disappointed with conditions in external cafe area, loads of tables not cleared and tissues blowing around. General lack of attention it seems.
Could do with employing some young people to do basic tasks during school holidays I think.

I've been using the Havant store for a number of years now and have been delighted with the service in both store and restaurant.
This is why I have taken out Club membership.

As always, we mainly visited for coffee and cake. Did have a browse but enjoyed coffee and Bakewell slice. Lovely as usual. Was nice to see the restaurant busy.

Love visiting my local Dobbies. It’s a welcoming place and very friendly. I especially like the fact you can make a day of it in the cafe and soft play where you are well looked after by the staff.

I went with a short shopping list of things I needed. The layout of the store has changed and I had to ask an assistant where things had moved to. I want buying plants but was upset to see that many needed watering. The standards seem to have slipped a little recently.
