Dobbies Garden Centre
I have been going to Dobbies for years. It’s a shame the restaurant is struggling with staff and menu choices now breakfast, light lunches, cakes etc.
Lovely healthy plants though ☺️

Abysmal restaurant visit…
An after school treat with my Granddaughter was terrible, no hot food after 2pm, no sandwich for her childrens pick and mix meal and staff wanted to charge me the same as if there was a sandwich! All I got was "kitchen is closed"
Two signs at Dobbies Lelant definitely say hot food only between 11am and 2pm due to staff shortage

I am sorry to hear that the Lelant restaurant was not running in their normal times for the cooked food. I have checked our website and can confirm that hot meals are only served until 3pm.

The staff are very good and always…
The staff are very good and always pleasant.the recent visit it was only 3pm and yet the kitchen was closed .therefore there was only a very limited menu which was disappointing. You have stopped doing meals at lelant which used to be good .you are a short step away from being a drinks only cafe.well done to the staff .

I visited the garden centre…
I visited the garden centre yesterday....compared to when it was wyvedale...its terrible!! Went to the cafe which is now so BLAND...it use to have an amazing atmosphere for beautiful sunday lunches...now its like a town cafe.The staff are friendly and pleasant but every member was ' big boned", vile coloured hair and so SLOW! I got fed up waiting and went else where.The stock of goods are damp and shabby...use to get my dog food from there.... now its sparse and very expensive.
What an insult to the area of Hayle... certainly won't be going there again!!!

Very disappointed with coffee .very poor quality. What was most disappointed was lady's toilets very poor condition to put it mildly. Toilet seat was loose. Very unsanitary. Disgusting.
