I would prefer to have plain scones instead of fruit ones in 2 4 1 afternoon cream scone offer.

the staff are a delight, good manners, good service, very helpful and friendly, the plants are good too...

We really enjoy going to Dobbies garden centre at Emley the tea and lovely cake are so good

Coffee nice but cakes not as good as they use to be

We visited for breakfast this morning. The food was good although it could have been a bit hotter.

We had lunch today at Pennine and the staff and service was excellent the food was good quality and price.

The Garden Centre is totally soul-less since Dobbies took over. I appreciate change is inevitable, but when it was family-run - even when Wyevale had it - the showroom was welcoming, pleasant - not like a giant air hangar that feels more like a warehouse than a shopping experience. The cafe is the worst ... what was wrong with the previous system? One couple waiting for drinks got their sandwiches way before the drinks - and even then they had to wait. Our food took ages; the waiting staff don't have a smile or even a pleasant word when the food is put down on the table (slammed down in our case). It takes ages to come - one person on a till, the layout is as it was when the service was seamless ... just crazy.

Coffee was nice and hot and served with a friendly member of your staff

The staff, always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Plants and shrubs well laid out, plenty of room between displays. Restaurant menu is ‘brief’ but inclusive but which means everything is fresh made and well served - I like the ham, egg and chips!

I visited the Dobbies Garden Centre at Shelley, Huddersfield. I didn't feel they had a wide selection of plants, and I found the customer service very poor, with disinterested and rude staff.

Helpful staff, good choices well priced.

Cafe needs a clean inside and out, even the outdoor Hand rails have not been wiped/cleaned in months.

The restaurant was busy, but we were served quickly. The food was very nice. The staff pleasant.

Called yesterday especially to ho to cafe fir the 2 fir one scones deal.
Plain, fruit, cherry and cheese scones all priced the same.
So reading the description it said 2 for one so I asked fir the 2 fir one deal scones could we have tge plain ones please, was told no.

I enquired as ti why and was told they are already made up and ready to serve, so we got 2 plain scones whipped cream 2 Jams and T for 2 which cost us £3 more than the 2 fir one deal.
The add is confusing, it should state clearly what the 2 4 1 scones deal us.

Could not understand why the customer could not CHOOSE wich scone they would like so they could put as much or as little ham and cream on themselves.

Just a little complaint over the price difference but the menu description needs to be clearer.

They seem to have a problem with flies as well as seating upholstery is badly stained.

The staff were very friendly and efficient

overpriced food, dirty, flies everywhere and all over the food, awful hot food, instructions unclear as to where to order and *younger staff do not get the pay the deserve or the pay they were told they’d get when starting the job*

Donnie’s is a good garden centre and cafe but for the life of me I can’t understand why you got rid of the perfectly good pet section to replace it with another one which in my opinion will never match the original one!!!

Staff some nice, others bit abrupt.
Café getting more expensive

Much improved. Friendly staff. Nice place to have a coffee and chat.
