Lovely visit to Dobbies on Sunday afternoon, clean well presented store. Friendly and personable staff . Beautiful plants and goods at reasonable prices. Cafe very inviting with excellent service and produce.

We had a meal which was good value for money and enjoyed are visit.

On Sunday i had a gorgeous tuna and cheese melt toastie on what looked like hand sliced thick bread with gorgeous homemade coleslaw and side salad washed down with a beautiful caramel latte. Had my drink free as im a Dobbies member. Bought some plants and got 10% off, great experience. Staff helpful. Whats not to love. So vastly improved to how it was a few years ago. Well done!

Got a deal on winter bedding plants - 3 for £10 and also got 20% of them. Could do with more deals as so expensive otherwise.

Once again I was disappointed with the experience. My husband and I each had a cappuccino - which had very little flavour. I had to ask for the table to be wiped and there was lipstick residue one my husband’s cup.

I bought some pansies, and not only was there a discount on the flowers there was an extra because of my Dobbies Club Card. The lady at the checkout processed everything quickly and with a cheerful smile.

The garden centre part was fine, but the in-store Sainsbury's was less than good. As I entered that dept. I picked up a bag of apples and a bag of lemons. But further into the store I found precisely the same lemons reduced by more than half. Took the more expensive ones back where I found them and returned to the reductions: exactly the same experience with the apples, so again a trek back to replace the expensive ones. Why leave out fruit (same in every respect, including the sell-by date) at full price when the same items are also offered at less than half price in another part of the store? Just irritating!

We came in for a look around- no specifics. The store felt a bit flat, but I think it's the end of summer/ too early for Chistmas time.
We had a coffee and I am sorry to say the cafe remains low in my scoring. Please could a customer sign be placed appropriately to let us know the procedure for ordering food and hot drinks.I feel it's a bit over the top to have to pre-order drinks, but they were both piping hot and very good.

All the team were extremely courteous and helpful, as is our experience every time we visit.

Went as told dog friendly, which it is. However made to feel unwelcome in the cafe despite having dig friendly area and sent on wild goose chase around the store to enter the special area for dogs that none of the three members of staff were aware of when asked. When finally made it to the cafe was told no hot food available and service to order and wait for drinks was slow.

Very slow service in the cafe waiting for hot drinks despite it not being busy. Long queue at the main fill by exit as only one person serving despite one member of staff walking past on three occasions.
The organisation of the cafe is not the best, very unclear and waited ages for our tea!
