great selection of garden and indoor plants and lots of interesting bits and bobs, everyone is friendly, it's a nice place to visit

As a subscriber I went to buy some vegetable plants. I thought the price was prohibitively expensive. I was very disappointed. I will grow from seed and probably cancel my membership.

I love shopping at Dobbies and visit often but the only drawback I have encountered on several occasions is the delay at the checkout. Otherwise all good.

Restaurant Service slow. Many tables waiting to be cleared. The rules seem to change every time. Not much choice in the food. The staff do their best and work hard but seems they have a very busy work load, The garden centre staff are very helpful.

Lovely shop but the cafe let's it down. Not busy but was told there was a 35 min wait for food. Coffee wasn't as nice either, seemed a poorer quality. Staff all very nice.

The trolleys are deadful and hardly pushable. I have a back problem and I certainly feel pain on trying to push the trolley which goes in all diections. They should be much better maintained to avoid injury. Otherwise the staff are very helpful and kind at the Blackpool Road Dobbies whihc is my local one.

I always enjoy going to Dobbies. I have a disabled husband and he is very slow. We arrived at about 1.45pm and went directly to the cafe for a spot of lunch. They had just closed it for 30 mins. My husband is unable to stand for lengthy periods. He was kindly allowed to sit. However when it opened at 2.30 we were informed that it was only drinks and cake. Very disappointing as we travel a distance from our home. I appreciate the covid and staffing impact on the service you offer but was very underwhemed on this visit

The resturant if thats what you call it is probably the worst ive been too in many years .. tables uncleared many for the entire 45 mins we were there.many of the lights didnt work so it was quite dark . The few cleared tables were dirty Food order late and then when it arrive it was the wrong order . Food overpriced and poor quality . This place should be closed down until they can sort out how to run the place properly we saw a few customers walk away as nowhere to sit . i contacted the head office and they werent really interested .

New system does not seem to be working efficiently.
1) Find table note number return to till. 2) Wait for someone to return to till to take order.
3) Then wait for 30 mins for 2 x coffees to be delivered to table.
As always staff very nice.

Enjoy visits got plenty of variety of plant's,seeds and shrubs
The restaurant is good for a coffee and the staff are friendly.
The only thing I miss is Peacock's and Edinburgh wool outlets

It's always a delight to shop at Dobbies. Everything is very nicely displayed. Great selection of goods at reasonable prices.

Well, it was a big improvement on our last visit. The staff were friendlier and they had a reasonable selection of cakes in the café.

Service in the café was very slow, with few staff evident.

Better, but still a way to go.

Always a nice welcome. Plenty of items we came to purchase and a reasonable price with my dobbies card. We also stopped for a brew and a fancy which tasted great.
