Staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. I trusted them to match us with the right dog for both our and the dog's wellbeing. Very proactive with their support and following up with you too.

From beginning to end, the experience was smooth, informative and genuinely centred around Mops’ needs.
I worked with Louise to arrange Mops’ adoption and she was absolutely brilliant — responsive, helpful and reassuring throughout the whole process. The behavioural therapist on site also gave us some really useful advice and practical options to help keep Mops focused and supported as he settles in.
Overall, we felt completely set up for success, and our beautiful boy is already settling in so well. We’re so grateful for the care, guidance and support we received.

The adoption/rehoming experience was very positive. I see/feel Dogs Trust really want to make sure the dogs go a really good home and also making sure our experience is assured and looked after throughout.

Dogs Trust have been exceptional; the staff listened with sympathy & care when I visited after loosing my buddy Frankie, a rescue Bullmastiff who had been my companion for 5 years. They were happy to accept his unused dog food & were supportive when I discussed rehoming another dog, no pressure to rush things & to do so when I was ready…. Then I saw Billy, the 9 year old bulldog in the viewing kennels & he plucked my heartstrings. No dog should be in kennels but one this age needed a new home & I considered fostering…. Yeah, right! People who know me know I wouldn’t give up on him & I will spoil the little so & so for the rest of his days. I know this breeds life span & know as much of his medical history as is possible with a rescue & none of it changed my mind. Staff have been great & have supported this adoption from day one and I feel they continue to do so for many months to come. Follow up calls from the adoption & behavioural team have been very good but then again, there’s no concerns as Billy’s so laid back.
Would have no concerns to adopt another dog from the Dogs Trust Shrewsbury or any of their other establishments; they truly care about the dogs & matching the dog and new owner is exceptional. Have no criticism what so ever!

Professional caring staff. Full support all the way through the process of adopting our new companion.
Arrangements made to help with our 7 hour round trip to meet our potential companion so we didn't need to worry about details.
Everything was given up front, full vets reports of all treatments and time frames. Arrangements were made in advance so we could also meet on same trip with a dog behaviourist.
We adopted our boy and he's settled in beautifully and become very attached, zero regrets and full credit to Dogs Trust staff at Shropshire and shout out to Sophie.

Throughout the adoption process, we were very well supported by all staff, they had the interests of our dog first at all times. I can’t praise the staff at Snetterton Dogs Trust enough! After we officially adopted, we knew there was additional support should we have needed it and appreciated the follow up calls to check in.

Had a call from a fundraiser from dogs trust. The fundraiser explained what the work they do and proceeded to ask me to sponsor a dog and want me to sponsor at least 3 dogs and when i pointed out that i couldnt afford it. She then tried to persuade me to sponsor a couple of dogs and woukdnt take no for an answer. She was very pushy in the end i hung up on her. This i believe is not being professional if a person chooses not to sponsor a dog then its their choice no need for pushy tactics.
