Dogs trust gave us valuable advice on choosing the right dog for us. We were able to meet "Big Mac" a couple of times before bringing him home. The adoption process went smoothly and we were given his medical information and tips and advice leaflets to go home with. They went through everything with us. Everyone there works hard at looking after the dogs in their care and people are friendly and approachable. We were offered after care should we need it in the future. This is the 3rd time we have adopted a dog from them and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone interested in giving a dog a loving home.

Our experience of adopting Charlie was great. There was a slight delay due to him being taken down due to medical hold, however, as soon as he was available again, Bridgend centre called us immediately.
Julie contacted me firstly to talk about Charlie and she explained very well about the potential medical issues. She took time to explain the process which was really helpful. When we arrived the following Sunday to meet Charlie, we were greeted so warmly by the team and Gail took us aside to introduce Charlie. She was fantastic, she made us feel really comfortable meeting Charlie and explained everything throughly. We didn't feel rushed in the slightest and we even managed to take him home the same day.
We can only thank the Bridgend Centre for keeping in touch with us and helping us welcome Charlie into our home.

The team at Evesham were all fantastic. They provided so much information about my chosen pooch at my first visit, all of which was so helpful. Everyone was lovely and I really got a sense that they love what they do, especially Maria. I guess as heartbreaking as it is to see dogs come in, it must be so rewarding to see them leave to a good home. Everything in the adoption process has gone smoothly and as someone who has never rescued a dog before, that has been important. I'm so grateful to all the team - and so very happy with my new pooch. She's a little dream boat. Thanks everyone!

On arrival at The Dogs Trust at Cardiff we were warmley greeted, on enquiry regarding a staffordshire bull terrior cross that we had seen on the website he was promply brought out by Jo who was very helpfull and informative and of course we fell in love with him, it took a short time to complete the adoption process, he is now home with us and he is perfect.

The team at Huyton supported my mum immensely when she looked to adopt a dog.
Set clear expectations of how the process was managed, and finally found her new best friend in life Ollie.

The trust were so thorough going through my application, making sure we both knew what we wanted! Meeting Baxter the staff were amazing answering all my questions! Picking him up on Saturday was just the best experience! I had driven 90 miles to Leeds where my family are, so they met me there. Wasn’t sure if they would be allowed in incase it was too overwhelming, but they were fantastic as I don’t see them very often! Everything was explained and knowing I could contact them anytime was very reassuring. A call today to see how we are getting on too! Would definitely recommend them and of course Baxter is just amazing!!

I found the Dogs Trust in Leeds so helpful...I lost my Staffy of 13 yrs and wasn't sure as id been to other rescues also...im big on connection.. they let me pick a few dogs I was drawn to...they sat with me and talked me through each of the Dogs...unfortunately they or i wasnt suitable for my needs, then the lady had a suggestion of a cross breed staff with schnauser ...but it was a pup...wasn't going for a pup lol.. but I believe there is a reason for everything...and because my previous dog was a reactive staffy to dogs I understood I needed a break from that...so there you go.. a fab chat an easy process and lots of ongoing support I have the most beautiful pup in the world..great condition and healthy...they are the best ..always called me back promptly with updates ..Great meets with the Dogs can't fault them ...if your not sure just ask them their knowledge and understanding is second to none .you never know there maybe a dog thats just not quite ready but perfect for you. Thank you x

We adopted our 10 year old Lurcher from the Dundee branch and we’re both so happy to have Jessie with us.
Alistair and Issie were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They talked us through the whole process and arranged a meeting with Jessie and Patrick, Jess’ fosterer (who also deserves a mention ) at a secure park which gave plenty of time and space to decide. 5 Stars and more 🐕🙂
