Great experience adopting a pup
From the start the Teams at Dogs Trust have been wonderful. We have had consistent friendly communication from them and now we have our own amazing puppy. We've been given lots of support and offered further support as we (and he) settles into his life with us. In particular, Meg from the Loughborough branch has been great.

Great experience
The staff at the Merseyside branch as well as the phone support have been great and happy to answer and question we had and help us make sure we had everything prepped for our new best friend as well as follow up post adoption to check how things are going.
I would definitely recommend this as it has been a great experience overall and everyone is very nice and happy to help from reception to the handlers and the managers.

Bella the Pug
Filled the application in on the Thursday, got a phone call on the Monday, inviting us over to Merseyside to see the dog we had shown an interest in, the following day Tuesday, fell in love with Bella and picked her up just over a week later. We have had her now just over two days, she is a wonderful little companion.

All the Staff at dogs trust Leeds were welcoming, Friendly and very supportive. I visited a few times which were followed up with phone call updates. Would like to make a special mention to Lindsay and Claire who were both amazing and matched me with my new companion Ben, who keeps me on my toes and brings happiness in the my home.

These people are doing God's work…
These people are doing God's work honestly. They care por humans but they put all their heart into dogs and their wellbeing. All the care and explaining have made the whole adoption process of a very difficult dog with special needs absolutely perfect. I was left with no doubt and no worry that I might not manage because I know I will always get support where needed.

Cardiff dogs trust
We originally went to the Cardiff site with no expectations other than to show our 10 year old daughter is used to being around large breed dogs as I can fully understand that they have to be careful who they put dogs with. After speaking with the lady on the desk about a particular dog we were interested in she explained that there was some issues with mouthing etc (very honest) she then suggested the dog we have adopted and he is the best thing ever. I can't fault any of the staff and volunteers at Cardiff they have been very accommodating and honest we have had an amazing experience.

Caring staff made for great experience
I just adopted my greyhound from the Evesham branch. The staff were all amazing! It’s obvious that they care a lot for the dogs and making sure they find the right home for them. There is a huge amount of support provided once you take your dog home, there are vets and behaviourists to help with any concerns, and heaps of advice available. Cannot recommend Evesham enough!

I had a lovely conversation with Kerry…
I had a lovely conversation with Kerry today from the dogs trust further to my adoption of BellaBoo on Monday from Telford dogs trust.
She was absolutely lovely, listened and also offered on going support from the dogs trust for BellaBoos ongoing interaction with other dogs. I think I chatted far to much but Kerry was so empathic and understanding and showed warmth and understanding, she was a star.

A relaxed process with good information and support. Hannah was professional and intuitive, matching us with the perfect dog for our family situation. The aftercare has been first class so far. I would definitely recommend adoption to anyone considering getting a dog.

Post adoption contact.
Great to have contact after the initial adoption process, very reassuring that we were not "abandoned" and that they care about how our new addition is responding, and we had assistance if we need it.
Adoption process was well formatted and reassuring , any questions answered and good advice received. Rehoming package was a great addition and most welcome, nice that there was a consistent and familiar thread with her past.
Very happy to encourage others to adopt a dog via the Dogs Trust.

The Leeds Dogs Trust Centre is exceptional - very impressed
Terrific experience with adopting our puppy from the Dogs Trust. We visited a couple of times and no suitable match. Also applied to adopt online. Finally a phone call came from the lovely Lindsey at Leeds Dog Trust and we were invited to view Barney (who is now Hugo). The Charity centre at Leeds is clean. Dogs on view looked so well cared for in comparison to other refuges and staff are delightful and professional. The experience to adopt has been professional and follow up support is in place. Extremely impressed
