Very helpful and caring. Their foster carers do an amazing job! We’re very lucky to have adopted.

Applied on Saturday night and was contacted by someone on Monday morning - very responsive. Pavan provided a tonne of information about the dog we were interested in, physical, behaviour and personality and was very transparent, making sure that we knew what we would need to work on with her as well as emphasising that she could be a very big dog so stressed that we must be OK with that if we are to consider her, which we appreciated.
When we went to meet Raven, the dog we were insterested in, Pavan was so lovely, introducing us to Raven, and giving us time with her alone to check she was right for us. Notably, and I realise she does this day in day out and is very experienced, but we were so impressed with how she managed and communicated with us and the dog; she was so calm and you can just tell she had a calming effect on the dog and Raven very obviously trusted Pavan. She mentioned she'd only spent time with her a few times but I thought the dog wanted to go home with her 🤣!!
When we took her we were given all of her vet information (vaccinations, microchip, worming, flee), any tablets needed, some food, blankets and a bag of her toys which was useful for settling her in.
We were also given information on training and how to find reputable training schools, offered help with behaviour from Dog's Trust if needed for specific behaviours and sent information about managing a range of behaviours in dogs.
We also received a call a few days later from someone at Dogs Trust to check in and see if she's settling and if there are any concerning behaviors to address.
Raven wasn't a 'complex case' as I imagine some dogs with a sad history or with major behaviour problems would be, so our experience was pretty straight forward, but it was brilliant from start to finish and continues to be.

I had the most wonderful little dog from Dogs Trust Cardiff. He wasn’t the dog I originally went to see but after deciding the first dog was not for me. The young lady dealing with me. She said give me 5 mins. She went to other kennels and came back with my adorable little man. We fell in love instantly. His condition was immaculate very healthy, lovely coat etc. the people there are true dog lovers and you can see they adore all the dogs in there care. There is a wide variety of dogs to choose from. I would very highly recommend Dogs Trust Cardiff .

The staff at Wymeswold Dogs Trust were amazing! Having met my timid older dog, they recommended the perfect companion for her. :) The new dog is relaxed, confident and outgoing, and settled in within just a few days. Whenever minor issues arose, Dogs Trust were there with advice from their experts. Four months on, and my older dog has become happy and more confident, and the two are inseparable! Thank you, Dogs Trust!!

The Dog Trust at Bridgend staff were really supportive and understanding, They kept us well up to date on what was happening and when, we felt listened to and they described Cassie really well so we knew what to expect.
They explained the process very clearly and we were also able to meet the foster family which also helped with communication and information sharing ....which helped Cassie settle in.

Kenilworth Dog's Trust have helped us adopt 2 wonderful dogs over the last 10 years. However, if one follows the recommended steps of waiting to hear after online registration, then this does not work. Register, regularly check online for dogs available at the local centre, and attend in person when one appears.

First class service. Most of my life I’ve had GSD absolutely love the breed. I went searching for a dog on dogstrust website. I spotted a staffie, not a breed I know much about. Heard good and bad, a friend has an older version but my heart was set on a shepherd. Then I was introduced to Koda at the manchester unit. After second then third meeting koda is now my puppy. Very accurate description, given advice on the breed. They brought her through to me an hour and quarter drive. The girl was fantastic, staff overall dedicated helpful friendly and polite. A delight to deal with. Highly recommend if you are browsing for a dog. They do vet your place and suitability for any dog, I agreed with their assessment it proved accurate. Tho I’d only had GSD, I’m now 64, fitness isn’t what it was. A big dog…longer walks which I would struggle with. Small flat etc. Common sense. Glad I listened, Koda is extra special. Fantastic dog, good natured friendly loves meeting new people most of all the acres of beach for her twice daily zoomie.

Excellent experience from first asking if we could adopt the dogs, to the day they came home with us and more. Follow ups are great, as was the call back from the behaviourist.

Alistair & Izzy from Dundee Dog Trust were just amazing! Both were very knowledgeable, experienced & dedicated to their job.
They explained every stage of the process in detail, and stressed that there was no such thing as a “stupid question”.
They made sure the our gorgeous Echo was the main priority & that matching her with us was the right thing for everyone.
They have also stressed to us to use the aftercare provided if need be.
We can’t thank them enough!

I have just had a very positive experience with adopting from Dogs Trust. All the staff on the telephone and those we met in person were very friendly and helpful. Time was spent explaining the adoption procedure and when meeting the dogs we wished to adopt. A big thank you to all.

We have adopted a number of dogs from rescue centres over the years and the Dogs Trust is one of the best. Our new dog Maisie has been with us 4 months now and everything we were told about her health issues and nature has helped us to understand her needs. The staff were very honest and helpful during the selection process and could not have done more. Many thanks to you all.

The most amazing help and support from Dog's Trust. We lost our Staffy of 12 years a few weeks ago. We registered with Dog's Trust and 2 days later we got a call to say they'd matched us with a dog called Ralph. The match couldn't have been more perfect. He's a beautiful Bull Lurcher with the sweetest temperament and the biggest heart, who just loves all other dogs and humans.
The service, between the initial calls, the meet the dog sessions, the adoption and then the post adoption help have all been superb. The dogs here truly are so amazingly well looked after, and matched to well with potential owners.
Ralph now has his forever home :-)
