To start with, a problem occurred with my credit card, which prevented me from paying for the last leg of my return trip from Amsterdam to Athens. By the time I locked in payment for the last trip with Aegean, it was no longer available. I tried several many times, but the system insisted that the flight was not available. Since my daughter had to return to Athens on that date, I had to cancel the Aegean flight from Athens to Malaga, the EasyJet flight from Malaga to Birmingham, and the EasyJet flight from Birmingham to Amsterdam. As you may appreciate, my daughter and I were disappointed, and also we lost about 350 Euros, after the airline companies and Dohop returned most of the cost. Although disappointed, I was pleased with Mr. Marnelli from the Dohop Connect Support team, and also EasyJet and Aegean.

Re-scheduled flight costs refunded.
After our flight got re-scheduled we had some expenditures to be able to continue our journey and all of them have been refunded. I'd suggest to pay for the insurance, It will make your life easier.

Just had to use Dohop support as EasyJet changed one leg of a connection resulting in my second flight leaving before my first flight arrived.
TBH easy jet were less than helpful so I didn’t hold out much hope with Dohop. But absolutely brilliant service and they arranged alternative flights within an hour.

My self and 2 children came from Salzburg to Inverness with a change at Luton, that flight was cancelled, called dohop which I paid for months before: no help what so ever, had to book over night stay and find new flights, out of pocket by £400

When booking a flight home with a connection on Easyjet, they told me I had to use Easyjet worldwide which uses Dohop. They make sure you have two booking references to there is no responsability with either of them for missed connections due to failed aircraft. On the way back home, the aircraft didn't show up, so they ended up being over 5 hours late and hence missed connection. The helplines were just "we are experiencing a lot of calls right now" so no-one was there to help. In order to get home I had to book a compltely new flight myself.
With a single booking reference, they will get you on the next available flight or even pay for overnight stay until a flight is available. With two booking references you get NOTHING. I can't even get the standard EU compensation for the delayed flight. Dohop say talk to Easyjet, easyjet say talk to Dohop. Please BEWARE using these services.
In response to Dohop, this is very disengenuous as Easyjet said I did not board the flight:
"Under EU Regulation 261/2004 (UK261), entitlement to compensation arises where a passenger has a confirmed reservation and checks in on time, and the flight is delayed by three hours or more for reasons within the airline’s control (Article 3(2)). The Regulation does not require a passenger to board or complete travel once a long delay has materialised. Compensation is based on the delay to the flight itself, not on subsequent travel choices."

Booking flights through the easyJet website there was no notification that Dohop were involved. So imagine my surprise to find I have been charged a total of £38.61 for 'arranging' my flights - this includes currency transactions which were not necessary either. Response time is not great and there seems to be no willingness to refund - although they thank me for my patience and understanding - so that's nice.

Took a while to get through to an DOHOP agent. Once problem addressed, all went smoothly and resolved to my satisfaction. Agent was polite and helpful. As for easyjet website, made it impossible for me to deal with situation (cancellation of flight) myself.
