We are now up and running AND I managed to complete the form for extension guarantee....The Doro 8100 delivered is as described. I had to help the owner of the phone. I had placed the order. I wish I had fully understood that the alert button does not call the person designated (me) for a chat, using it like a short cut dialling. That is not the case! It is only to help me to remotely change settings etc. Personally, I will never use that feature, as I can be nearby, it might be OK for savvy family who can't get to their elderly relative. I ensured I safely kept the digital receipt but wish I had not thrown away the packaging after a few days, during which I guided the new owner and tested the phone... after such time, I wanted to sign in for extended guarantee but the indispensable reference was on the carton wrap. So our phone cannot be under guarantee for 3 years as advertised.

I have had Doro phones in the past due to my hearing problems and did try another make but it was no where near the standards of the Doro , as the volume control was to low , so l shall always recommend Doro to others and stick with what suits me best , thankyou for such a good phone .

I just bought the Doro L30 as a replacement for my older 3G Doro phone. The phone itself is fine. However, the charger is a huge disappointment. The instructions inform you that no charger is included due to EU regulations aimed at forcing people to use old chargers for environmental reasons. Ok, fair point, if not for the fact the L30 has a usbC connection not usbA, like previous Doro phones. So instead of using the 4 old chargers from old phones, I have to buy a new one before I can use the phone. Thus doing more harm than good to the environment.

The battery on my 2-month old Doro DFC-0610 does not last as long as my previous and after 2 months, it need charging each day.

My mother, in her late eighties, has used a 3G Doro phone for occasional telephone calls for several years.
But the 3G signal is being switched off in UK.
Selected a flip phone and a pendant (for emergencies).
Ordering was simple, delivery was quick.
Read telephone and pendant manuals and setup was quick and easy.
My Mother is very happy with the telephone and pendant, knowing she can call for help if required even in the shower.

I brought an elderly vulnerable man across Galway City to buy a dumb type cell phone. The sales agent inputted his contact numbers from his broken phone. When he got home his new phone wouldn’t charge. I had to bring him to a nearby repair shop where they told him the charging cable was faulty. Had to purchase replacement as it was not possible to get across the city again.
The response from Doro customer service totally lacks understanding of the difficulties incurred.

Bought new Doro1380 to replace my damaged -1370.
Could not get battery to hold a charge, so contacted Customer Support where Jos/e was very helpful through several exchanges about set-up, and eventually conceded that I should get a refund. Bought a replacement 1380 on-line, and it worked first time.

Sorry I couldn't write this in Swedish. We are an older couple who really appreciate the simplicity of the phone and how the sound is so good. I have it on a little table with my computer hub and the thermostat for our heating system which are all white so the phone matches perfectly. My husband loves it when it rings as it makes a noise like a bird tweeting - he is an ornothologist.
