Most companies buy their windows from the same manufacturer like REHAU or FRAMEXPRESS LTD so you are probably buying the same product and paying for fitting. Shop around as it may be better to go to a one man band rather than pay a boss for just sitting in an office?
The employees were all very pleasant but were short staffed and rushed the job. They cut through the lead flashing and repaired it with silicone sealant. They also left numerous chips and scratches on the internal paintwork. The boss's response was 'if I had a pound for everyone who complained' !! Well if you did a better job then perhaps no one would complain?
They were not the cheapest quote but I was taken in by a glossy brochure and a very nice salesman. I wish I had taken a cheaper quote and saved a few hundred quid!

I decided to treat my boghole of a flat to one of these modern UPVC front doors so I had a bike ride out to the Woolsbridge Industrial Estate to visit Dorset Windows for a natter.
I was met by a lovely friendly lady who fell over backwards to educate me on these doors and she went through my available choices about everything, even the glass panel in the door, I ended up by being given a quotation for my chosen door.
Being a reasonably sensible kinda guy, I decided to get a couple more prices from alternative suppliers, one was Safestyle and the other was Poole Joinery, I was treated abominably, particularly Safestyle ( see my 1* review of them elsewhere )
I eventually rode back out to Dorset Windows to finalise my new door, again I was treated delightfully, sorted out what was what and I placed my order and paid a deposit, installation was scheduled for the very near future.
The big day came, I was greeted by two very pleasant and friendly installers, a little verbal bantering and the job was done, I was more than just pleased so I happily paid the balance.
So dear readers, if you live in East Dorset and you'd like a nice new UPVC front door, do not bother to go anywhere but Dorset Windows, they are the BEST for friendliness, courtesy, quality and good value.
