Great experience from start to finish

Placing the order was easy - done online. The communication regarding delivery was good. we received a courtesy call on the day to confirm the window of delivery and it was on time.
The two people delivering it and building it were great. Very efficient and talked me through how to operate it (it was a TV bed!).
Bed is great quality.
Would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately awful experience

Unfortunately awful experience. I waited weeks for a next day delivery mattress and this never arrived. I contacted customer service countless times and no follow up.

I let them know of urgency as visitors coming to stay and no follow up.

Will never use this company again. Dreadful service.

Extremely poor quality and aftercare

My mattress was delivered on 22nd June, exactly 21 days ago. Order number 255A034825

The two points below are the reasons I invested in this mattress, however neither are true. The top layer doesn't adapt to your body shape, it doesn't even feel remotely feel like memory foam. And it doesn't relieve pressure points. In fact, I just sink right in to the mattress causing my spine to feel like it's bending which has given me severe back pain. It is more like extra soft than medium and fails to adapt to my body shape or relieve pressure. Unfortunately this mattress has proved to be a terrible purchase and not true to it's USP's as advertised. It's quite possible that it's faulty.

Supposed USP's:
1. Contouring memory foam - adapts to your unique body shape
2. Pressure relieving features - reduces pressure points for better sleep

I emailed yesterday to report the issue and to get a refund and the email response said expect a response in 7 days. This isn't good enough when I can't sleep properly in my falsely advertised mattress. I then tried calling today whilst at work as they only take calls until 5pm. After 20 minutes on hold it explained "Someone will be with you in 120 minutes". I thought this was a mistake so kept holding. After another minute it said 119 minutes so I hung up. This is beyond unacceptable.

Now I have to wait 7 days for a response email to arrange a refund.

Between the extremely poor quality mattress and the terrible aftercare, Dreams have really let themselves down.

Sleeping on a slope

Sleeping on a slope!
Don’t waste your money on this frame or ANY dreams bed. After paying full price for this bed, we’ve been left with a broken bed since it was delivered damaged. We’ve had two attempts at a repair (each one they make you wait a month for) and the last visit they turned up with no parts.

Originally there were some emails back and forth but we’ve had no update or response now since mid-June. This is with the additional purchase of extended cover-what a joke that is!! We’ve now found the bed on clearance due to others reporting issues. There is no reasonable alternative and the bed is lopsided to sleep on. If you value your time, money or just your sleep.. AVOID DREAMS.

Terrible service

If i could do less i would. We got a delivery date and tineslot for our 2 mattresses. The night before we got a phone call to say the mattresses wouldn't come for another 7 weeks. I said that this wasnt good enough and so they said the only option was to cancel. But then I rang the store who advised that he wasnt sure what the agent had done as there is lots of delivery dates in July. Noone answers the phone or calls back when they say they will. I took a day off work to be in to wait for these mattresses and we are now stuck waiting for a refund before we can reorder 2 more mattresses for my daughters. Dreadful service and I will be advising people not to order anything from dreams

I ordered 2 beds and mattresses in…

I ordered 2 beds and mattresses in early June from the Dreams Store on the Purley Way in Croydon. My wife and I had the room re-decorated and had planned everything to be ready by the first week in July in preparation of our grandchildren coming to stay with us on 17th July. Plenty of time you’d think, and was reassured by the in-store sales team.
I checked in for an update with the store 2 weeks after the beds were ordered and I was told that the delivery had been delayed by 2 weeks. I was given a delivery date of 14th July (which was still ok but cutting it fine) and had a number of text messages and telephone calls up to the day before, confirming this. On the morning of the delivery I was sent a text saying the beds weren’t coming and the earliest new delivery date was the 18th July (with no beds for the grandchildren to sleep in on the 17th).
So after all the careful planning we were let down by Dreams but the disappointment didn’t end there. No one in the sales team in the store could help as the system does not allow them to access customer orders! How ridiculous. I was told to call Customer Services which took 2.5 hours (and not the 60 minutes the answerphone message advised). Customer Services couldn’t help and my grandchildren will have to sleep on the floor. Not the exciting start to the holidays we were hoping for.
My experience with Dreams beds fell far short of their claim that they are the most recommended bed retailer. I would definitely not recommend them. There sales staff cannot help with problems and customer services is a shambles.

This company is an absolute joke

This company is an absolute joke, tried to move my delivery date 3 times 2 weeks before it was due 10th July, spoke with several different all who said a "request had been put in", after spending over an hour on hold with no apologies. I've submitted 2 request on the online form with answer.

Then we got an email 3days before stating delivery would be going ahead as planned. The phones lines for the customer service were then down for an entire day, finally got through to person on 8th July after spending another 1hr on hold. At this point I was so annoyed I just cancelled the order, and now its over a week later is till haven't had confirmation this is cancelled, or when the refund will be made, so now I have to waste even more time to get hold of them AGAIN, but the somehow the customer service phones aren't working, but the sale one for new orders somehow is

This is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with, and will never buy anything from them again after this, and I certainly will not be recommending them to anyone

Me and my partner ordered a matress…

Me and my partner ordered a matress from the Stockport branch for over £500 pound paid cash on 04/07/2026 we had a delivery date of 16/07/2026 and then yesterday the 13/07/2026 we received and email saying the delivery daye had been changed to 21/08/2027,tried to speak to someone in store and was fobbed off,trying to make a complaint and cancel and was given the run around I feel this is discusting behaviour from this big company and will never recommend them to anyone DISCUSTED IS NOT THE WORD

I have just spent an hour and 15 and…

I have just spent an hour and 15 and countinue waiting to change my order on a mattress. Yesterday I waited for 40 mins. On both occassions I'm being told that they expect to answer my call in 1 minute, one hour later I'm still waiting. All I want to do is use the 90 day guarantee and buy a slightly more expensive mattress on which the offer runs out today. Staff in store told me I had to call customer services but no one seems to want to take my call. Surely you can't be that busy that a customer has to wait over an hour and 15 plus! As I write this I waited 1 hour 18 mins and then the phone cut off.

Horrible technical support!!!

Horrible technical support!!!! Avoid this company.
My 17 yr old daughter was paralysed in an accident and requires medical equipment for daily living. I have spent loads of time and money to make sure she has the necessary tools for daily living while balancing it out with items that do not make her room look like a hospital room.
I spent £4000 on a bed that was perfect on paper, however, 2 months after receiving it, we began having issues with the remotes. They no longer work to control the bed or the tv.
I have contacted customer support who then pawns me off to the technical department. There's no number for them. I just have to wait for a callback from them which never happens. I've requested callbacks now 6 times and nothing.
So I basically have a £4000 bed (that's less than 5 months old) that has the same functions as a £300 bed from argos.
Deplorable company. No customer care after purchase. Avoid this company!!!! F

Awful customer service

Had a great instore experience.

Scheduled my delivery for July 14th, received no confirmation or any update from their team. Rang the customer service line asking when the mattress will be dropped off, to my surprise it had been rescheduled until the 21st of AUGUST without any communication. Wouldn’t have purchased the bed in the first place if I knew it would be 5 weeks delayed.

Absolute joke of a company, horrible customer service

Shocking customer service

Bought a mattress 1 week ago the delivery is supposed to be on the 17th July. They cancelled my order yesterday stating I would have to reorder the mattress again with a delivery date now the 21st August. I would have to buy the mattress again as they can’t change it, but my money for the original mattress is not going to be returned to me for another 10 working days. Which means they will have my money for an order they can’t fulfil for 3 weeks. Plus if I can’t afford to buy the mattress twice either take a loan ! Or I’ll have to wait for the refund that could push my purchase back another month and the price might not be the same!! Tried phoning customer service all day to get cut off after holding + 30 mins each time. The live chat was unable to help with anything on a pre existing order and operators busy, but when I put it was a new purchase I went through to a sales person within 2 seconds. This company has terrible customer service. I don’t know if it’s in financial trouble or that the people running the company are inept. I do feel sorry for the staff as they must have a lot of upset customers and if Dreams treat paying customers like this god knows how they treat their staff. Sharp practice, Fraud ? So now no mattress and no refund for 3 weeks because it’s not Dreams Policy!! Well it’s not my policy to pay a small fortune for goods you had no intention of supplying and not refunding immediately for your mistake.

Dreams is a JOKE !!!

We ordered a bed in the Bromley branch on Sunday 5 July tried to pay by cash but was told due to a new system we had to pay by card which was lucky we had the £800 in our account to cover this a big company like Dreams refusing cash a disgrace. Said on our order form we get it delivered on Monday 13 July but no bed turned up. When we finally got through to customer service after a hour on phone then got told the new system gave us WRONG date bed would take 5 WEEKS so now laying on the floor for 5 weeks as we broke our old bed up. Spoke to customer service said they would call us back but they HAVENT trying to call them back but there phone line has yet again gone down. This company is a big JOKE !!!! Will never go back to get any thing more from them. Lost a days pay waiting for my bed to come that never happened so now going to lose another days pay when I EVENTUALLY get a date if I’m not laid up in Hospital with a bad back from sleeping on the floor for 5 WEEKS !!!!

Delivery date disgrace

I was allocated a delivery date of the 20th July, this was inconvenient for me as it was a weekday. I then attempted to access the change delivery date or call but this was never working. I used the live chat and asked to change my order, however, I was not informed at any point that this involved my original slot being cancelled. I will now be receiving my order an additional month later. The total delivery time is now 60 days, after being told 3 weeks in store. Awful customer service. Pointless having a phone number that is always ‘in high demand’.

Terrible Customer Service

I bought a bed, mattress, and headboard at Dreams Uddingston branch on Sunday, 5 July. The order confirmation I received at the time stated that delivery would be on 13 July. However, the sales assistant told me that this was likely an error, as they were having issues with a new computer system. They assured me I would receive confirmation of the actual delivery date within a few days. They also managed to charge me two installation fees and again assured me that the second fee would be refunded within a few days. I have not heard from Dreams since. I tried to contact them on Friday, 10 July, but their phone line was down. I called again today, 13 July, and waited 40 minutes on hold before being told that their computer system is down and they cannot provide a delivery date until at least next week, with vague details about when the actual delivery might happen. Regarding the refund, they say it was processed on 8 July, but I have yet to receive it. I really regret not buying from a different company.
