Dreams order confirmation 888H421442. In May 2022 we purchased a mattress off you. We took out your bed insurance too as advised by your sales team.

Over the last few months the bed has become very uncomfortable, both my husband and I wake up with back ache and unable to stay in bed any longer than necessary. The mattress dips on the sides and there is a ridge down the middle which is higher than the rest of the mattress.This is particularly noticeable when you lie on it. It feels like you are sleeping on a slope.

So I called the bed insurance company out to inspect the mattress and they said it was only dipping 1-2cm and it needed to dip by 4 cm for us to make a claim. My hand could fit under the plumb line the insurance man put over the bed to measure the dip. (See attached photo). It was the least scientific insurance investigation I had ever seen. The standards they use to measure a default mattress are elementary, crude and do not take into account peoples experience of the state of the mattress. He was not interested in how we found the mattress to sleep on and he took no account of the effect of body weight on the mattress. We took out the insurance in good faith and it is now clear that it not worth the paper it is printed on. I feel very angry that we were sold an absolute worthless and valueless policy by you.

This is also compounded by the fact that the insurance man told me that all super king memory foam mattress form hard ridges down the middle as people naturally sleep on the edge of the bed, this forms a dip and the middle remains as it came out of the factory. He also said I should have been told that by the staff at Dreams when I purchased the mattress. This did not happen, otherwise I would not have purchased the product in the first place. Who would be stupid enough to spend £859 on a mattress which would last a couple of years?I am extremely disappointed in your bed insurance and the quality of your mattress. To spend that much money on a mattress for it to only last less than 3 years in appalling and a complete rip off.

The product you sold us is not fit for purpose nor is the insurance you sold us incase of product problems.

My partner and I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Dreams store in Chingford. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at ease. The standout of our visit was the exceptional service provided by Raghuraj.

He guided us through the Sleepmatch analyser with care and professionalism, clearly explaining the results and helping us understand what would suit our needs best. His attention to detail really made a difference – he even provided pillows for each mattress we tried so we could properly test the comfort and support.

Once we’d made our choice, Raghuraj continued to make the experience smooth and relaxed. While we went through the finances, he kindly brought us water, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated.

I honestly had the worst experience ever I went instore as I’m disabled so I wanted to feel the mattress as I need a soft one and the staff member was an absolute nightmare I think the shop I used comes under Chingford area but anyway he was way to pushy trying to get me to buy the most expensive mattresss in store so I explained to him I had a budget and that’s all I could afford to spend and he was pushing me to spend more saying most people put it on a credit card I felt so embarrassed never wanted to get into debt when I’m not working as unwell I just wanted a new mattress I literally had to say if you don’t leave me alone I will leave and buy one else where he was a complete pest he stressed me out so much I thought I was going to have a seizure and then because I wouldn’t entertain him he asked my husband to come upstairs and started trying to sell him more expensive ones is never use this company again he told me no less that 50 times what type of mattress I need I’m 58 I no what I need and what I can afford it was honestly shocking I ended up saying I’ll take this one just to get him of my back as I couldn’t get a word in and I now have a rock hard mattress witch I can’t lay on because of my spine and neck disability and have to save up for a new one and definitely from a different company but I would like to say the delivery staff where absolutely lovely very polite on time and so helpful just a shame about the sales person

The buying experience was easy and had no issues with this -
delivery was not as promised, had an email saying I would be called an hour before the delivery slot to let me know where in the 11am to 1pm slot I would be, this didn’t happen.

I was called two minutes before the delivery was made. This was tricky as I was ten minutes away not having been able to be home for the whole slot.

After the fitters had left I noticed that one of the sofa legs (front left) was facing the wrong way. I was able to call the drivers back and they came and fixed the leg, no apology was given.

I paid £60 and expected that they would be able to actually fit four legs correctly.

So far no issues with the sofa

Delivered on time with full Comms on the day. Quick installation by polite fully trained staff. Highly recommended.

I arrived at the store an hour before closing the sales assistant Raghu took his time with me showed me everything I asked for, I left there purchasing 3 mattresses for 3 different people however one thing that concerns me is he never gave me any information or advice as to what type of mattress was good for a specific type of user, I feel that this information could have been useful for me.

Well done Dreams at Chingford, from the store to the delivery men everyone was helpful. Would thoroughly recommend anyone thinking of getting a new bed to go to Dreams you will not be disappointed. I was even offered a drink when visiting the store, there was no pressure from them, thank you dreams by bed is perfect.

From the attention in the store to the care and consideration shown by the delivery staff, this company still cares about customer care and service - which is rare nowadays.
Their attention to detail and service is superb. And I have the most comfortable night's sleep i can ever remember. Well done Dreams, you have got it just right!!

Solid bed and comfy mattress. Just need to stop my husband snoring for the best night's sleep.

Salesman not great at listening to requirements but quick delivery and delivery drivers very efficient and careful with your property. Mattress so comfy.
