Hi, This review has been a long time coming but I'm just back down from the clouds, after having purchased the Lucia single bed in dark brown faux leather on 17/4/26, and I'm so glad I did. What a bed, absolutely gorgeous makes the room look and feel cosy, ticks all the right boxes.
From the initial visit to the store, up until the bed was delivered, I can honestly say the customer service was first class and that's with me being indecisive (there's so much choice.) The Dreams staff at the Gallagher Retail Park, Coventry are a perfect example of excellent customer service. There’s flexibility and professionalism, definitely smooth operators. I can't thank you all enough.
The Delivery service was excellent and professional. Jamie and David were brilliant. Before I knew it my bed was assembled, and I agree from the many reviews I've read, it really does look more expensive than it is. I am very pleased with my purchase, I highly recommend this bed.

If you are looking for a company that excels at one thing, it isn’t sleep—it’s the systemic, calculated conning of its customers. The current leadership at Dreams Ltd, from CEO Jonathan Hirst down through his senior "Bedquarters" team, should be utterly embarrassed by the predatory circus they are running.
The Scam: Holding Money Hostage
This isn’t just a "customer service delay." This is a deliberate withholding of funds. Dreams is currently sitting on £568 of my money for goods they failed to provide or satisfy. Their "solution"? Offering store vouchers.
Let’s be crystal clear for the management team reading this: A voucher for £568 is "dead money." My bedrooms are furnished. I don’t need more beds. I need the money that belongs to me. Offering a voucher in lieu of a legal refund isn’t a gesture of goodwill; it’s a desperate attempt to retain cash flow at the expense of a defrauded customer. It is a disgusting, low-tier tactic that reveals the true ethics of the people running this brand.
The Finance Fraud
To Petra Kasperova (CFO) and the finance department: You have a serious problem. You are currently maintaining a finance agreement for a total that does not equate to the goods purchased. This is a fundamental breach of consumer credit regulations. By refusing to adjust the balance and holding onto my cash, you are effectively forcing me to pay interest on "air."
To the Management Team:
Jonathan Hirst (CEO): Is this the "retail excellence" you brag about in your corporate bios?
Emma Long (Chief Customer Officer): Your title is a joke. There is no "customer" in your strategy—only a "target."
Dan Parsons (CCO): Your commercial strategy appears to rely on keeping money for products people don’t have.
The Escalation
Consider this the final warning. This situation is vile and unprofessional. 1. The Furniture Ombudsman is being formally notified of your "voucher-only" refund policy which contravenes statutory rights.
2. The Finance Company is being alerted to the fact that the loan value no longer reflects the physical goods, which is a direct violation of our credit agreement.
Dreams Ltd is a disgrace. You aren't selling "sweet dreams"; you are running a financial nightmare. Give me my money back, or prepare for the legal and reputational fallout you’ve worked so hard to deserve.
