Fantastic experience buying first mattress
Fantastic experience buying first mattress with partner. Gina went above and beyond, with great product knowledge. She found an equivalent mattress to the one I had many years ago, ensured we tried enough to be sure of our purchase. Gina and Ericka made the experience really enjoyable, not rushed and no pressure to purchase.

Not honoring Terms and Conditions
The salesperson didn't want to honor the T&Cs on the site.
They offer a Price Promise, so if I find it cheaper in another shop, they give you the price difference. So I did. I found the same Tempur Hybrid in a different shop £700 cheaper. All within the terms and conditions.
This salesperson says it's a different mattress, because Dreams names them differently (however I confirmed this is not the case, it's exact model). This is a really bad practice, and I'm reporting this practice.
Dreams calls their Tempur Hybrid "Cooltouch" Elite, which is no difference in ANYTHING with any other Tempur Hybrid Elite you could spot in any other store. You can easily check it's just name convention using Tempur website.
I really hope Dreams has to pay much more than my Price Promise difference for this bad practice.

Printing a logo and adding it to your product to elude Price Matching doesn't seem an ethical practice. Tempur owns Dreams, therefore they just print a different label, but it's the same product.
How do I know this? Every other Tempur country site describes their products to have Cooltouch as part of it. Just UK has that bit taken out. Why? So the biggest seller of UK can sell the same product more expensive.
How would I be convinced that I'm wrong? Show me what material is different, not a wording convention. Layers are the same, % of used materials are disclosed the same....

Thank you for your review. I am sorry for any frustration that this matter may be causing you.
Our price promise is quite clear that it must be the exact same model and specification to qualify of our price promise. Our Tempur mattresses have the cool touch technology built into them, which is signified by the icicle logo on all mattresses.
This is an intrinsic part of the mattresses specification, therefore to qualify for the price promise, the mattress from another retailer would need to be identical to qualify, so therefore if it does not have the built in cool touch technology, it is is not identical, and as such cannot meet the price promise threshold.

Dreams New Cross - Best Experience Ever!!
OMG... My wife and I had the best mattress purchase experience ever. We were warmly welcomed by Gina, who expertly guided us through to the end purchase. My wife has recently been diagnosed with serious degeneration in her right hip and finding our existing mattress increasingly uncomfortable. We explained this to Gina who understood fully the problem my wife is experiencing. We were taken aback by her complete knowledge of all products, services and the company she works for. Gina is both a credit and an asset to Dreams, and we are recommending Dreams New Cross to family and friends.
