Friendly welcome, well maintained boat, nice and competent staff

We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Dream Yacht Charter. From start to finish, the quality of service was exceptional.

The base manager was highly professional, approachable, and incredibly helpful, ensuring that everything we needed was taken care of smoothly and efficiently. The yacht itself was in excellent condition—perfectly clean, well-maintained, and fully prepared for our trip.

We also greatly appreciated the additional services, such as pre-ordering groceries with delivery directly to the boat, as well as the seamless airport transfer arrangements. These details made a significant difference and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our holiday without any stress.

Overall, we had a truly fantastic vacation, and Dream Yacht Charter played a major role in making it so memorable. I can highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a top-quality sailing experience.

I recently chartered a Bali Catspace yacht through Dream Yacht Charter for a milestone birthday trip, paying approximately £5,200. The boat was advertised as a 2025 build, but on arrival it was clearly a 2023 vessel with visible wear, pre-existing damage, and overall condition not matching the representation.

Before departure, I had to document multiple issues myself, including damage and defects that should have been addressed prior to handover. This immediately undermined confidence in both the maintenance standards and the accuracy of the listing.

While the holiday itself was enjoyable (largely due to the location and company rather than the operator), the experience fell well short of what was sold and paid for.

To Dream Yacht Charter’s credit, they did eventually engage in dialogue and offered compensation. However, the process was drawn out and initially came with conditions that attempted to limit liability and restrict the ability to leave an honest review, which I found inappropriate. Only after pushing back was a more reasonable resolution reached.

In summary:
• Misrepresentation of the yacht (advertised vs actual build year)
• Poor pre-charter preparation and visible defects
• Reactive rather than proactive customer service
• Compensation only achieved after persistence

I would strongly recommend that anyone booking:
1. Verifies the actual age and condition of the vessel in writing
2. Documents everything at handover
3. Reads any compensation terms very carefully

This could have been a very different review had expectations been set honestly from the outset.

To compound issues the compensation they credited to my account was deducted a banking fee because they opted not to pay the fee and instead pushing that to me. Really poor.

Really everything went as planned. Our charter boat is very clean and in good shape and didn't have mechanical problems on our trip. We did have to call for support a couple times in the office was responsive.

Fantastic trip! The Martinique Dream Yacht team was amazing and always helpful. We had some dinghy leakage problems and the team offered to bring us a new dinghy when we were up in Saint Pierre.

Gregory was a great checkout engineer, very patient and understanding. Louis, the site lead, is really friendly and helpful. Karynne, At the front desk was great and very detailed, her recommendations were awesome!

There was nothing we could point our finger to and say, it was not correct. The boat was very well prepared, everything was double checked by Morris during handover and demonstrated the functionality no matter if we knew the system or not. If we experienced a technical issue on our trip (with our fridge), a technical support was available even on distant places.

Everything worked out extremely well. We felt well taken care of and got to see some amazing anchorages in the Grenada/Grenadines areas.

Our guide Ian was the best. He was a huge part of making the trip so special. He was very knowledgeable, and just an all-around really good guy. Pretty much everything you'd want in a skipper.

The trip was very well organized and we had everything we needed. We felt very comfortable from beginning to end.

The check-in and check out process was very easy.

It was a nice surprise to learn that are skipper was able to take care of all of the immigration process for us.

I would definitely consider Dreams if you're looking for charters.

A great experience again with Dream Yacht from arrival, during the trip and disembarking. Check in was a breeze and the staff were great with luggage assistance to the boat. During the trip the hostess and captain were brilliant. A special mention to both Sunshine (the hostess) and Alex (the captain). They were superb with Sunshine being an excellent hostess looking after her guests on all levels. Alex was informative and looked after the guests safety all the time.
When we checked out, our luggage was taken care of and then complimentary taxis organised to the airport by the office team.
A wonderful experience and would highly recommend DYC to anyone. Thank you.

Simply great

I felt that there was good communication throughout the process of booking and once at the base. The boat condition was great and I had no issues I couldn’t handle on my own. When we had a dinghy motor problem the base technicians handled it immediately and got us on our way. Very pleasant office staff!

After a quickie boom repair at DYC St. Martin, we sped round to Simpson's Bay and won 1st place in the Heineken Regatta, Island Time Class.

We had an amazing experience for our first Dream Yacht Charter! Amazing host and captain, wonderful food, and beautiful scenery everywhere.

The experience was very good. The check-in and check-out procedures went OK.
The marina is quite uncomfortable as there are long distance to walk to the boat (when using toillete, dinner,...) and the only one key card was available.

The team at Dream Yacht based in Guadeloupe is very proactive and helpful. It wasn't the first time booking there and will definitely come back!

The journey was well organised. The boat worked well with no problems.

A great overall experience. Good attention to detail. Good communication early and leading up to the trip. I would use DYC again.

The captain and first mate were wonderful. Caught some fish which we ate. Snorkeling and tours were very good.

The detail and customer service oriented team at Guadeloupe made us feel welcomed. They take real good care of the boats and are very helpful when needed.
