Dreamyacht is a very reliable company providing either cruise by cabin or boat rental. We have loved our 2 expereiences in Croatia from Trogir and Zaton

Perfect!
Everything was ready to receive us. The Skeaper Nicolas is a special person and we feel like he was our son and family.
Dream Yacht at Anse Marcel
Dream Yacht at Anse Marcel, St Martin continues to excel. It is a wonderful location, with wonderful staff, all of whom probably deserve bonus pay for going above and beyond. The base remains in need of improvements, especially to the docks, but overall a great place to visit and set sail. Stay at the Blue Sail prior, and eat there as well as Restaurante del Arte. You won’t be sorry.
BVI cruise. Great way to see the islands. However cruise overbooked.
7 day catamaran cruise around British Virgin Islands. Ads seen both on their own website (where we booked) and also available as a package on Voyage Prive.
Pros: great way to see BVI without the rush. Our captain (Filou) and chef (Laure) were great. On board food was varied and excellent. Activities were varied enough day by day although we ran into poor weather which curtailed some. Ample of snacks and drinks on board (we didn’t run out of wine or beer although some of us did buy beer as time went on).
Cons: false advertising - we had 12 guests instead of 10 advertised on website and I have emailed the company directly to feedback. They replied it’s a website error. 12 is too many on our boat esp when there is poor weather as there is only 9 seats in the covered area. Our boat was about 8-10 years old and starting to show its age, with dusty and mouldy curtains and a faulty water maker which was identified and removed just before our journey began, meaning we had to stop for water every 2 days.
Poor quality DYC yacht in Antigua
We had DYC’s Jeanneau SO350 “Antidote” for 10 days at beginning of Feb out of Antigua. I picked her, and paid the premium rate, because she is less than 2 years old so should be in great condition. First fault I spotted was the anchor chain had been misaligned over a guide roller that it should have gone under. “That’s how it is meant to be” was the first response till I insisted they correct it. If I hadn’t spotted that we would have been in a bay that evening unable to drop the anchor!!! Next, the oars in the dingy didn’t fit the rowlocks so, when the outboard failed, it was impossible to row properly. The heads back-flowed constantly (faulty Jockey Valve) so had to be pumped out every hour. Handing back I gave them a list of 14 items that needed repair or were plain unsafe. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.
Cancellation Nightmare
We had to cancel our plans because one of our members suffered a major injury and could not make the trip-orders from his doctor. We did sign a contract and also did not take out travel insurance, but truly believed that an exception would be made for us. We offered to "move" our reservation to a later date and did not ask for a refund. The company, represented by Jane DeVoe and her sales manager Chuck, refused to offer any kind of recompense. The comment was that the boat could not be rechartered because of the short notice. Perhaps the accident should have been planned for an earlier date. This particular boat shows only 1 night of charter for the rest of 2026! It would seem to us that Dream Yacht Charter could have easily found a way for us to come at a later date-no commissions were lost nor did the company acutally "lose" any funds. In fact, they saved the expense of cleaning the boat. Being in the travel business and owning a wine distribution company gives me a different perspective on high levels of customer service than was demonstrated by this company. Their website touts great customer service as an asset and character of the company. Shame on them!
An unsafe bareboat from Kos
An unsafe bareboat from Kos. A damaged boat with bow thrusters not operating. The boat was not fit for the high winds and departure was delayed whilst we arranged a professional skipper at our cost. Promises of rebate for failed early departure and lost day came to nothing. Book with them at your heightened risk
Wonderful service
Wonderful service. Efficient. Boat in order. Useful informations were also shared. Thank you for this wonderful experience. We will be back :-)
Loved sailing in Tahiti on a Dream Yacht Charter.
We chartered a Bali Catamaran out of Raiatea. It was excellent. The staff was wonderful, the boat was great, and the whole experience was perfect. This is my 5th time chartering with Dream Yacht Charters and I plan to take another trip with them again soon. Thank you!
I have had the best experience working…
I have had the best experience working with Dream Yacht Charter in Kotor, Montenegro! A well-coordinated, professional approach. Technical and administrative support were top-notch! Doria is very pleasant, and Naya is a professional in her administrative matters!
Dani's assistance and technical support were top-notch. Their professional assistance in difficult weather conditions, mooring in their home marina at the end of the charter, was also top-notch.
I will definitely charter a catamaran with them again!
A curate's egg of a charter
A curate's egg of a charter. The base team did their best, but were badly restricted by penny-pinching further up the chain I feel. The boat, a Dufour 36, had a seaworthy hull, a reliable and economic engine, and a good galley and heads. The biggest problem was a cracked capshroud bottle screw, a major safety failing that should have been spotted during an inspection. We had to return to base for replacement which cost us a good day of our holiday. (It was admitted that this was not our fault.)
The second issue was the self-tacking foresail. These are hard to furl neatly in a flat calm and impossible in any wind. Unfortunately the top turns blew out and destroyed the sail, costing us our large insurance excess. (Not taking out extra extra cover is a mistake I have not made before and won't make again.)
Other annoying defects included:
- unreliable chart plotter (kept locking up & needed rebooting)
- unreliable depth sounder seeing shallows
- rudder lock inoperative
It was a great experience!
It was a great experience!
Dream yacht crew was fantastic.
Big things for Marco and Aldo.
Avoid if you can
Boat was ok, not particularly luxurious, but then after the trip - I've had to wait more than 3 weeks to get my security deposit back. Terrible customer service, no accountability, absolutely horrible experience to have to chase them for getting my money back for what should be a standard operating procedure. Avoid if you can.
shoddy boat was given they said what we…
shoddy boat was given they said what we paid for was in an accident and totaled. the day we were to take our week long trip, we had no choice but to go out on a substandard smelly boat. they said they will address it when we return, nothing they could do.
Customer service was the worse, SEYCHELLE CASTASTOPHE. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE. YOU WILL BE SORRY.
We had a great experience with the DYC at Nassau
We had a great experience with the DYC team in the Nassau,Bahamas base. We are DYC owners and have been to a number of different bases throughout the world and the Bahamas team were the best we have ever dealt with. Welcoming and helpful and made the checkin/checkout experience so smooth. They went over and above expectations and I would definitely recommend them.
On February 2025
On February 2025, we had a terrible experience with Dream Yacht Worldwide in Polynesia during our 7-day cruise to Bora Bora, departing from Uturoa (Raiatea Island). The yacht's crew stole one of our new towels (a Polynesian souvenir) from our cabin while they were changing the sheets. We initially thought it was a mistake (it happens), but skipper Homai L. (32 years old) immediately became annoyed and behaved rudely toward us. At the end of the cruise, when we verbally complained about his shortcomings, the "disappearance" of our towel and, above all, his disrespect, he attacked us, not only insulting us but also physically, even violently pushing his middle finger in our noses. We didn't react to Homai L. (who, by the way, is half our age), but we limited the consequences by freeing ourselves from his grasp and leaving. Where? We immediately reported the seriousness of the incident to the Uturoa police (despite an imminent flight and our honeymoon!). Upon returning to Italy, we contacted Dream Yacht customer service (Ms. Elina G.). After verbally reassuring us that they would take our complaint seriously, they quickly and clumsily closed the case, calling it "an unpleasant incident between two people with differing versions of the facts." But how? We were robbed, insulted, and verbally and physically assaulted on their yacht! We even filed a complaint with the Uturoa police, but not only they didn’t lift a finger (except Homai L., who gave us the middle finger in face!), they didn't even respond to our subsequent emails, showing us even more disrespect, as if what we had already suffered at the hands of their skipper Homai L. in Polynesia wasn't enough! It is with deep sadness and disappointment that we note the complete lack of seriousness on the part of Dream Yacht Worldwide representatives. We hope that sharing our terrible experience with DREAM YACHT and its appalling customer service will inspire reflection of people about sailing with such a company, risking being robbed, insulted, and assaulted, with complete immunity from liability!
Unreliable boat company
Unreliable boat company. Generator broke down since the second day. The skippered boat trip did not follow the proposed itinerary because of the generator failure. No replacement plans at all from the company.. Our sailing trip became a trip staying in marinas only. No chance for anchorage. AC and water maker did not work.In the middle of the trip, we were taken to Split which was not the proposed itenary. Our whole group has launched the complaint to the revelant tourisam board in Croatia. Since we are still on board, we will esculate this further if nothing has come into agreement before we disembark.
Perfect trip to French Polynesia
We just finished a trip to French Polynesia with Dream Yacht Charter. The trip included Raiatea, Tahaa, and Bora Bora. As usual, the Dream Yacht Charter company was very helpful and responsive. I'm a returning customer, and I will definitely sail again with Dream Yacht Charter.
Bavaria 34 in Dubrovnik
We rented a Bavaria 34 in Dubrovnik. Unfortunately, the check-out was a disappointment. We were fined EUR 50 for something we did not cause. A lack of proper technical inspection during a previous handover must be the explanation.
What felt most disheartening was that their base manager didn’t believe us at all. He took it for granted that his staff couldn't possibly have made a mistake and placed all the blame on us, even though it was quite unreasonable. He claimed that we had detached one of the reefing lines from the boom and then pulled the rope out of the boom. Why would we have done that? That it could have happened accidentally is completely implausible if it had been properly installed. So the only remaining explanation is that we did it out of spite?
I recommend anyone planning to rent from Dream Yacht Charter to be extremely thorough in checking every item and every detail before signing at check-in. We’ve been chartering boats in Croatia for 10 years and have never had any problems with other companies. It has always been based on mutual trust, where we haven’t had to scrutinize the inventory list line by line, and the charter company hasn’t given us trouble afterward either.
Catamaran Charter La Paz
We charted a Catamaran from Dream yacht LaPaz in may 2025. They provided a fantastic experience for our group. the boat was clean, everything worked and was better then expected. The office staff was extremely helpful, as was all of the dock hands and other folks working with dream yacht. Everything was on time and we felt like we were a priority to everyone there. it was a great experience and we highly recommend using dream yacht La Paz for any charter
WORST COMPANY EVER
WORST COMPANY EVER. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. THEY SENT US OUT TO SEA KNOWING THE BOAT HAD SEVERAL SEVERAL ISSUES, AC, WATER, GAGES NOT WORK, CRAP LINENS, FRAYED ROPES. SAIL NOT OPENING. THEY KNEW THIS. STAY AWAY FROM THEM THEY NEED TO BE SUED AND SHUT DOWN.
