I ordered a new Battery from this company which arrived in record time. However after 8 weeks the battery will not hold its charge. I tried a second charger and still the same issue. I have sent them 3 emails over the last 8 days and still nothing. There is no phone number to call them on and also no address, so can't see where they're based. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Still chasing for either a replacement or a refund.

Ordered ONE battery, but after checkout noticed FOUR on order confirmation (and payment advice) from PayPal. I immediately sent emails to PayPal and drill-battery and received confirmation from drill-battery that only one was being sent and a refund would be received.
That was over two weeks ago!!
I'm now still awaiting refund.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Avoid, it’s a con job. On the website it says their Makita 1435 replacement battery weighs 925gms. Oddly it only weighs 502gms (a third less than the original Makita one) and has a voltage of 16.2 volts not 14.4. Since all ni-mh cells are 1.2 volts each and there are 12 in the pack (12 x 1.2 = 14.4 volts) I can only conclude that the internal batteries are over voltage, under weight and sub standard.

Ordered a workzone battery without reading reviews, my bad & I should know better…. UK company my hat…

No order confirmation so left a couple of days & emailed them… no response… put into dispute with PayPal & 24 hours got acknowledgement full refund processed …

First charge battery melted nearly burned my house down no responce at all to emails avoid like corovirus!!!

I WAS TOLD I DID NOT NEED A CHARGER AS MY OLD ONE WOULD WORK OK. IT DID NOT. HAVE SENT LOTS OF E-MAILS BUT NO REPLIES. PAID THROUGH PAYPAL BUT NO RECORD OF IT IN PAYPAL ACCOUNT.

I specifically came to this site because I was searching for a NiCd battery for a Bosch PSR 18v drill. Everywhere else only had NiMH batteries...and I really wanted NiCd for safe charging.
This site said "direct replacement" so..great...that will be a NiCd then.
Battery came in 48 hours, well packed but was...of course...a NiMH battery. Presumably there are no more old-stock NiCds.
Apart from that disappointment/ misunderstanding the battery fits and it does charge and so far, works well.
It's a shame that lack of communication and an unclear website let this company down, but I did get what I paid for...a replacement battery, and I got it fast.
Addendum: a dispatch note and tracking details did arrive...24 hours after the parcel.

I ordered a replacement battery for a Worx drill. The battery did not fit properly in the charger as the terminals were not aligned, and the 're-chargeable' battery does not charge, totally useless. I believed I was dealing with a UK company from a UK location but it seems to be scam for sub-standard goods from China. You do not get an invoice or even a order number, highly suspicious! There is no phone number for this business and they do not respond to emails! I now have to raise a dispute through Paypal. Just save yourself time and money and avoid.

I too placed my order before checking out Trust Pilot. So instead of Drill-Battery.co.uk and a cordless.battery email address there was no Seller ID on my Paypal receipt - instead it says I have paid to HAIFANG CAO and the email was a gmail from a lucy.cao2012.
This is total misrepresentation of the company and If those details had come up prior to purchasing I would not have proceeded.
When I did further searches for Drill-Battery.co.uk I came across the TrustPilot reviews which are shameful and show consistent recommendations to not use them as they do not appear to respond to refunds in any professional way.
Having said that I contacted them immediately and luckily did get a refund having cited the issues above.

I ordered my replacement dyson hoover battery before reading the reviews on this site. Having read the reviews I thought I had throw my money away!

However, despite the web site being a bit cluttered and old fashioned, and the order confirmation correspondence being non-existent (I only got a receipt from PayPal), the battery arrived without too much delay.

It appears to be well made, and the hoover runs for a lot longer than it did with its old battery in it. I will review again or edit this review if there are any problems.

Poor replacement battery - it does work but the new 3 amp hours battery holds less charge than my 5 year old 1.3 amp hours original battery. No one answers emails - I could not recommend this company.

Not a good experience battery arrived but would not charge up. Complained and had to go through the procedure of proving I was charging with a genuine charger by sending a photo. Eventually having gone through paypal they agreed to a refund if I sent battery back. Just gave up in the end as I didn't trust the company to refund my money without more hassle.

Don't go near this company. The Dyson-compatible battery I bought didn't survive the 1 year guarantee period and when I tried to claim a refund or replacement, all I was offered was the purchase of another battery at a slightly reduced price! After refusing this inadequate offer, I have heard nothing despite several emails. There are much more reliable companies out there selling decent products. You have been warned.

Ordered a replacement battery for my Panasonic hand drill and after using it once found that it did not fit completely into my Panasonic Charger. Manufacturer: Shentec. Result – it could not be recharged.
Sent a total of five e-mails to two addresses over a period of three weeks without getting a single reply.
I then discovered the Resolution Centre at Paypal and used this to send my complaint to Drill-Battery.
Next day I received an answer from Drill-Battery that a refund would be paid, after return of the battery, which it was eventually.
I was also promised that the return postage would be paid. Sent two e-mails over a month asking why this had not been done, no reply, (no surprise) so asked again through Paypal and got an immediate reply that the postage would paid – and it was.
Weeks and weeks to resolve a simple complaint about a battery that was the wrong one for my drill, although I was careful with my part numbers.
Atrocious service, complete disregard for the customer and apparently no intention to refund until Paypal was involved.
Lessons learned, a) Avoid this company b) Use Paypal, not direct payment.
p.s. Do NOT confuse with drillbattery.co.uk which is an entirely different company.

Totally fake company, claim to be UK store company, but need return to China for a damaged item?

Trying to claim the money back from Paypal, be aware!! Sending battery to China is more or less about £80 which is doubled of the price that I have paid for battery. And only few carriers have the license to ship battery, which makes much more expensive.

Paypal will not pay you the shipment fee, and after 4 weeks started from claimed the money process, I am still not received a decision from Paypal.

Two weeks and still waiting. Claims to have a UK store and item in stock. Claims to 5-7 days delivery.

Still nothing after 14 days.

Having given a 1 star and a complaint I have now withdrawing that and offer an explanation.

They communicated swiftly, showed me evidence that the courier claimed the item had been signed for 2 days after ordering. That was an 'untruth' on the part of the courier and not the fault of the merchant.

They organised a full refund shortly afterwards.

So a genuine issue, not the fault of the merchant. Excellent communication and resolution on their part.

The battery I ordered was not in stock so I was offered the next model down and a refund which I accepted. The battery arrived and works fine but no sign of the refund despite multiple emails over the past 2 months.
