Was recommended by a friend. Spot on services. Really helpful staff there too.
Excellent Customer Service & Car are always in neat & clean condition
Waited half an hour for a transport to the office, just to then over an hour to actually pick the car up. Really pushing overpriced insurance as well. Avoid.

Is it possible to give no stars?? Do not use this company. They are a scam. Booked a flight and car via easyJet to Aberdeen which was delayed- rang them to update on progress and when flight finally departed. They then charged us nearly £100 as we were more than 4 hrs late, they allegedly gave our car to someone else and then ‘only’ had one large car left. Told us to claim from easyJet which is impossible. Will never use them again.

The phone number for the Aberdeen office did not work, so I was unable to contact the branch before collecting the vehicle.
I had already purchased insurance through Enjoy Travel. However, because I did not have a credit card, I was unable to collect the car unless I paid £335 for Drivalia's insurance. I was also unable to use my girlfriend's credit card or change the main driver at the desk so her card could be accepted. I appreciate that some of this was due to booking through a third party, but it still resulted in a significant unexpected cost with no alternative option.
The car itself was an upgrade, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, on the third day of our six-day rental, the dashboard suddenly lit up with warning lights, the speedometer stopped working, and we pulled over as soon as it was safe to do so. The vehicle then became stuck in park.
I contacted the mechanical assistance number provided. Unfortunately, no one was able to inspect the vehicle until the following day. There was a local mechanic available who could have looked at the car sooner, but because they were not an approved repairer, we were unable to use them under Drivalia's policy. When I later spoke to the mechanic who had been assigned to us on the phone, he did not seem fully aware of the situation, and I had to explain everything again. It appeared that some information had not been passed on correctly by the recovery team.
As we were unsure whether the car could be repaired, I asked the recovery team whether a replacement vehicle could be arranged or transported to us in the worst-case scenario. They advised me to contact the Aberdeen branch. I explained that the phone number I had for the branch did not connect and asked if they had an alternative number. Unfortunately, I was simply given the same non-working number that I had already tried, leaving me unable to discuss any contingency plans with the branch.
I also asked whether overnight accommodation would be covered if we were left stranded. I was told that it would not. This was particularly concerning as we were in a remote area with limited accommodation options nearby.
Day three of our holiday was largely spent in an area with poor mobile phone reception, trying to find out how the rest of our trip was going to play out. There was also no suitable accommodation nearby if we had been left without a vehicle overnight, which only added to the stress and uncertainty. We were also told there was a possibility that the car would need to be towed to the nearest Drivalia branch, which was around five hours away. When I asked when this could happen, I was told it would likely be another day after the inspection. At that point, my girlfriend and I had no idea whether our holiday would be able to continue. We are currently in a long-distance relationship, so our time together is especially valuable, making the uncertainty particularly upsetting.
Fortunately, late that evening the warning lights disappeared, we carefully test drove the car, and the recovery was cancelled. However, the rest of the trip was overshadowed by anxiety about whether the vehicle would break down again. On the fifth day, more warning lights appeared. Although these were not red warning lights and the car remained drivable, they added to our concerns before eventually disappearing.
Overall, while I appreciated the complimentary vehicle upgrade, the lack of a working contact number, the unexpected insurance costs, and the handling of the vehicle breakdown made for a stressful experience. The uncertainty surrounding the reliability of the car significantly affected what should have been an enjoyable holiday.
***Update: My original review was what I considered a generous 2 stars. After receiving Drivalia’s response, I’ve updated it to 1. They acknowledged the disruption, inconvenience, and stress caused to our holiday, yet declined to offer any goodwill gesture or meaningful resolution. I understand that mechanical faults can happen, but how a company responds when things go wrong is just as important. Unfortunately, their handling of my complaint has only reinforced my original impression.

The whole rental experience at the counter (we had pre booked) was centred around trying to scare us into buying insurance that cost more than twice the cost of the original price. Thoroughly unscrupulous and untrustworthy. If you have a choice go somewhere else - I certainly will in the future.

I've rented from the Drivalia branch at Aberdeen Dyce Airport many times now, and every single experience has been excellent. In fact, it honestly just seems to get better and better each time I visit.
The staff are consistently incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. One thing I really appreciate is how accommodating they've been when I've been arriving late—they've always been understanding and gone out of their way to help, which takes a lot of the stress out of travelling.
The customer service here is genuinely outstanding, and it's one of the main reasons I keep coming back. It's refreshing to deal with a team that clearly cares about its customers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this branch to anyone looking for a smooth, hassle-free car rental experience.

Scam scam scam 💯 scam, they will show the less prices to book, then once you book and drop the car back, after few weeks times they will take more money from your account due to parking or toll tickets, if you ask the details they won’t reply, I have paid twice €170 extra, till now no responds from them, I would never recommend to use them ever, I’m actually in touch with legal advisor to file a case against them
