Not so low cost and disgusting car
This company advertises the self as low cost, they charges us an additional 100£ to add my husband, then we're unhappy I took out a 3rd party insurance and tried to charge us 12£ a day and then the check in man told me because of that they took a £2000 deposit which would take 21 days to be returned. The car he gave us was dirty and all scratched up. Awful experience

If I could give zero I would
If I could give zero I would. Arrived after a delayed flight and having no luggage I went straight to the on airport agent but they had given the car I had booked and paid for to someone else as I was late! All this despite putting the flight number so they could track it being late. Very upsetting and meant I missed a wedding as I then had to wait for a taxi.

Excellent staff at the desk
Excellent staff at the desk. Recommend submitting their requested information before picking up. Car service excellent, quick and much cheaper than airport car hire firms. Handing car back was excellent and good service from Carlos.

Everything was great
Everything was great. Except that the car was 7/8 full of petrol. I had a long journey ahead so it would have been better to have started full . And it is very difficult to judge 7/8 when filling up. But that was only annoying thing. Car was great.

AVOID. I got ripped off on the price of car seats
I booked a car via Holiday Autos with child car seats as extras. When I arrived to pick up the car the price went up significantly due to the car seats. I was told the price of the xtras must be wrong on the Holiday Autos site. That was it - pay a lot extra or don't take the car. I mean, what are you supposed to do? I feel very ripped off and will never use either Drivalia again.

Failure to answer phone calls
Thank you for your swift response to my review left on Trust Pilot, 20th July.
However, as per your correspondence stating to contact you if delayed, this was tried, but failure from your staff to answer a call, made it impossible to relay that the flight was delayed, therefore, I feel that it was unfair that we penalised for failures on behalf of your company.
Recorded letter will be sent to Roberto Sportiello this week, including a copy of your reply on Trust Pilot.

Do not use Drivalia at Bristol Airport.
Do not use Drivalia at Bristol Airport.
No pick up from terminal you have to walk half a mile down busy roads. No duty of care concerns especially in 29 deg C temps.
Vehicle had so many small dents, scratches, stained seats and a broken wing mirror not listed on the original vehicle condition report that we spent almost an hour getting the original report corrected. This took at least 2 extra visits back to the office for your representative to rescan the changes, one of which, the broken wing mirror moulding, he was fully aware of but had not noted on the original report. It should be noted the Drivalia agent did not get up from his seat and visit the car with us during the entire time we went through this inspection. He was just only concerned to close up and go home for the day.
The vehicle was dirty inside and out and the windscreen glass appears to have not been cleaned on the inside for weeks. The Drivalia depot is a simple gravel covered lot which throws up so much dust in dry weather that the car was so dusty it made inspection for scratches and window glass defects very difficult. When I started the car a change oil warning light came on and I reported this to the agent but he fobbed me off with “all fluid levels have been checked and the car is good to go”.
We made a phone request for a pick up at the terminal but this was refused. The dusty gravel yard ruined our luggage, disgraceful depot conditions.
In summary, the agent’s only interest was in getting the excess paperwork payment done, zero interest in the state of the vehicle and I’m sure now that I foresee that I’m going to have to fight for return of my excess deposit as there are so many defects with this dirty vehicle that we may have overlooked a small defect in the videos and photos we took prior to driving away.
I will be reporting these complaints to RyanAir who recommended Drivalia for hire car use.

Different invoices for the same matter…
Different invoices for the same matter without explanation.
My e-mails with a request for explanation are totally ignored. Off course the invoice with the highest costs are taken of the credit card.
Altough some people are nice everytime there are other issues. Mostly to earn more money
Note that Drivalia, U-safe and Green Motion are the same rental.
