Drive electric are simply brilliant at what they do. Second time I’ve ordered a car from them. I will do so again in a heartbeat.

I got in touch to lease a new car for when my other lease ran out. The sales guy was helpful, sent over lots of options and it ran pretty smoothly. However I ran into some difficulties with invoices and contracts being sent out more than once. Both paid and signed.. so I was left a little confused to where I stood. I was reassured when I reached out and a credit note for the invoice was raised as this was sent in error. However no word on the additional contract, so I assumed the same and ignored it.
I kept receiving emails from the ops team doing me to sign my contract, each time I responded with a copy of the originally signed contract and received no further information, so assumed everything was ok until a different member of the ops team emailed asking the same thing. Again I reached out to the original sales guy and was reassured everything was in order. A couple of weeks before my car was due I was emailed asking if I was having problems with the contract as it was still showing as not being signed. Turns out they had changed the details in the contract (to my benefit) but no one had informed me of the change, and I was unable to see the difference in the contacts until I started the authentication process. I felt as if the communication could have been dramatically improved, had someone told me the contract I originally signed had been voided to be replaced by the new one it could have saved many frustrating email exchanges.
However in the end the car was delivered a week ahead of schedule and I am enjoying it.

It says leave out offensive words ... don't worry, there won't be any. Erika at DriveElectric really on the ball, knows her stuff but still manages to be friendly..
you don't get that from every company. I've been dealing with these guys for over three years and not a single miserable person the phone or at the other end of an email. Stefan

Staff worked hard to give me the contract I wanted. I got a delivery date but 5 days before the due date I heard nothing so I called to confirm. I was told it had been delayed by up to 1 month. I eventually received the car 1 week after the due date. It was delivered with a very dirty exterior and the tyres were under inflated. This meant I was unable to give it a proper inspection before I signed for receipt. I was also told there was no tyre inflator kit and I would have to get one from a local dealership. After I cleaned up the car it is nice.

Everyone at Drive Electric was really helpful.
They went above and beyond to help when my car delivery was delayed by the dealer and were really responsive to my queries before and after the car was delivered.

The entire process from start to finish was extremely easy. All my queries were answered quickly and the vehicle was delivered ahead of schedule.

Really well organised. The team is very helpful, I got my car delayed twice but that's because of covid, issues with car shortage etc.. however, the team is trying their best to keep me updated. Really please with the service, highly recommend.

Late delivery - advised driver on his way with the vehicle on 4th and 11th august - finally turned up on 19th August.
We were originally told car would be deliverd by June latest.

The car was ordered in March 2022 for delivery in May. It arrived in August 2022! When delivered it looked like it had been off road. Both the inside and outside of a brand new car were filthy. The DS3 is nice though.

So far, everything has been perfect. I can't fault Drive Electric, from the initial enquiry right through to receiving the car and free Podpoint charger (which was also installed for free). I have yet to experience the ongoing communication and how they deal with any queries over time, but will update as I go :)

I am very happy with the service received from drive electric thus far. They have managed to get me my car as agreed and I’m very happy. The delivery driver Ian keep in touch with me and he dropped my car off first call.

Excellent Customer Service from Bryony. Had a grumpy customer (me!) due to a further delay in delivery of my electric van and handled it with efficiency and excellent communication of the whys and wherefores (not DriveElectrics fault I know). I kept the contract off the back of her efforts. A credit to your firm

The process of ordering the car went fairly well. Unfortunately the colour of car that we originally ordered went out of stock before our order was completed and we had to pay more for a premium colour.
We were made aware when we ordered the car that the 3 pin charger was on back order with Kia and may not be delivered with the car but would follow later. This story changed just before delivery to one where if we wanted a 3 pin charger we would need to purchase our own for around £300. I was very unhappy with this and insisted with Drive Electric that the charger was part of the specification for the car and, whilst I could accept a delay, I could not accept that I must purchase my own. Drive Electric suggested that I complain to Kia. I pointed out that my contract was with Drive Electric and not with Kia. When the car was delivered, there was what looks like a third party sourced 3 pin charger in the car which works perfectly well. There was no explanation as to how this charger became part of the delivery.
The car was very, very dirty when it arrived and there was indelible white writing on the windscreen describing the vehicle and the dealership.
The battery was also very nearly flat with less than 2% showing when it was delivered so we couldn't take it even for a short drive without charging the battery for several hours.
We were very dissatisfied with the presentation of the car so I washed the car twice. After each wash I was very dissatisfied with the look of the car. It seemed to me that the car had been sprayed with wax but not properly polished. There was a film of wax and even some lumpy patches which attracted the dust and gave a dull, dusty look. I washed the car a third time and spent 2 hours polishing out the wax film. The car now looks as it should. I am very disappointed that the supplying dealership did not prepare the car properly and delivered it in such a poor state of presentation.
