Mark is brilliant . He came to fix a couple of things, the first being a kitchen cupboard door. He then checked all the other doors and fixed them as well no issues.

We used the part exchange program to get moved into our dream home at Henley Gate, Ipswich. The whole process was smooth, Tracy and the rest of the sales team were friendly and helped keep us informed the whole way through the process and Tobias has been lovely dealing with the few minor snags.

Wished to give them 5 rating however few things observed from date of purchase to finally fixing all the issues after move in, made me reduce it to 4. Observations faced
1. Received unsatisfactory reason of moving possession date.
2. Ignorance of their third party vendors (fixed after move in)
3. Missing of extras purchased during booking
4. No space for essential shoe rack in the hall. Compared it with the show home.
However the good point is, their sales team n the site managers are supporting and reachable to resolve the issues under their control. It helped to resolve the pending tasks quickly.

Charlie Schudell is unfailingly courteous , helpful and reassuring .
Technician Stewart took a great deal of trouble to properly fix recurring problems with bathroom and kitchen plinths. He also made a huge difference to the paving at the front leaving it looking clean and cared for .

Very poor finish to home when moved in. Everything seems very rushed, dirty inside and out. Path fron and back not even swept. Brick dust everywhere. Shocking standard on the outside. I am completely overwhelmed by the amount of snagging jobs inside and out. Have employed a professional snagger to inspect the property and generate a professional report. This is my third DWH home and we are very disappointed so far.

i wish i could go back in time and not buy from them.
The garden isnt a garden. its a clay tennis court. they say they have had a report for the snagging but yet they cant send me the report. (i know they didnt do it)

We recently visited a new development in Chatteris, it was lovely and really liked the 2 house types suggested by sales associate Harris. Whilst the development sadly wasn’t right for us, due to distance and work commutes - I must commend Harris Lacey for his excellent sales service. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, very helpful and really good at following up - without being pushy! I don’t write reviews very often but felt he warranted the feedback- gold star Harris and lucky David Wilson to have you on their team.

I moved into my new David Wilson property in Bourne a couple of months ago, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Like with any new build , we had a few minor snagging issues crop up after settling in. I want to give a massive shout-out to site Manager Dean and his team. They were absolutely fantastic. Whenever we needed help with minor repairs or adjustments, Dean and his guys stepped in quickly, Professionally, and they made sure everything was sorted to a high standard.
It is incredibly reassuring to know the aftercare is this good. Thank you so much.

A special thank you to Jane, our Sales Advisor, who was always friendly, supportive, and happy to answer all of our questions throughout the journey. Luke, the Site Manager, was also fantastic, very approachable and helpful, making sure any fixes or repairs were completed promptly and to a high standard.
We really appreciated the extra care and attention given, including re-tufting the garden for us.
Overall, we’re extremely happy with our new home and grateful for all the support we received. We would definitely recommend David Wilson Homes to anyone for its high standards of build and customer care.

Lovely home, sales team helped as much as possible with the below issues which helped.
Moved in without garage keys, no working hot water, some doors / plinth in kitchen not fitted (still after 3 weeks of being in).
Other snags are reasonable and being sorted, happy overall, helped by sales teams support but disappointed overall given the quality of David Wilson.

Been in our home over a year and it’s still not complete. It’s honestly been the worst experience ever. We bought a new build expecting a fresh start, but it’s been constant stress, chasing work, and living around unfinished jobs.
The biggest joke is the garden — we paid for a home with outdoor space we can’t even use because it floods constantly. Instead of fixing it properly, they’re blaming “bugs eating the grass” while the whole garden turns into a swamp. No accountability, no proper solutions, just excuse after excuse.
Would never buy a new build again after this experience. Completely unacceptable. DO NOT BUY A NEW BUILD
We have had so much trouble bath leaks both bathroom ripped completely out while we was living here with a 1 year old baby the stress is unreal still plastering our ceilings to this day.
