I have just had David at my house from customer care to help with a few issues I was having in the house. David took the time to fix everything properly and to a very good standard and was very friendly. Thank you very much!

Andy C and Joe attended to repair the ceiling and then Ian attended to paint the ceiling a couple of days later.
All of them were helpful, worked efficiently and did a good job. Andy C was kind enough to also spot an issue with the front door and fixed that for us at the same time. They were all careful not to get any materials on anything and covered everything over.
Good service from Andy, Joe and Ian. Thank you!

I would like to specially thank Dawn and Martin at David Wilson Homes, Hampton Beach,Peterborough
From our very first meeting in February, Martin was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. As first-time buyers, we had so many questions, and both Dawn and Martin were always patient, helpful, and supportive throughout the process. They replied promptly to our messages and emails and consistently kept us updated every step of the way.
Although we eventually decided not to proceed with the plot, the service they provided was truly exceptional. They also ensured that we received our reservation fee back, along with part payment towards the solicitor’s fees, making sure we did not lose any money.
Because of the excellent care and professionalism they showed us, I felt confident continuing my search with Barratt Homes. I am truly grateful to them both and wish them all the very best.

John from David Wilson Homes recently visited to resolve a few items from our snagging list, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. All of our door hinges had been covered in paint, and he carefully replaced all of the brackets, which now look so much better. He also managed to fix our bedroom door, which hadn’t been closing properly since we moved in, something we’d been struggling with for a while. John worked quickly, professionally, and took real care with the work he was doing. I’m really pleased with the result and very grateful for his help. Excellent service.

Shame of DWH' quality and aftercare service.
Since completion, we have been experiencing many snags, some of which are unbelievable, and some of which took them a long time to resolve. We had no choice but to accept them.
Earlier this year we had a first boiler service and our own plumber find the boiler magnetic filter, boiler case screw and Earth bonding at the gas meter missing. I had contacted them for above issues in February time, nothing happened until I chased on 15th April, first they came back to me with {“Magnetic filter is not as per the DWH spec”}, then they come back to me after my question {“DWH do meet current industry building regulations and can advise the boiler would have been manufactured to include the magnetic filter within its components, this is not visible part”}. I checked with my own plumber because i was not confident with DWH's answers, he replied that my house does not meet the following building regulations, the magnetic filter must be visible and must be serviced so they must advise where it is installed if there is one installed'.
I am so embarrassed by these reactions, and they have completely destroyed my trust in the quality of their houses.
Since that I got the reply on 28th April said their plumber will be attend asap. it has been 2 weeks now and NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.
I also contacted them for the issue of the shower tray bouncing up and down and causing the sealant to almost come off in February time, but there has been nothing from them as well.
If you're considering buying a DWH house, be very careful. They do not complete their job to a satisfactory standard ,which makes me feel like they cut corners with their production.

Poor quality and poor service
Just lived 3 years . Every bathroom had water leakage. Many flooring cracked. Because 2 years warranty expired. Nobody care of DWH. I can't imagine 3 years old house had many quality problems. This is upset and frustrated. Spend whole life money on this house
Ian and Andy were very knowledgable and helpful with their recommendations, and it felt like they really went the extra mile to make sure jobs were done properly

From our very first visit to view the home through to the day we moved in, the service at Cammo Meadows Edinburgh was exceptional. Sales Advisor Donna and Site Manager Derek were especially helpful, consistently providing updates in the lead-up to our move. On moving day, their support made everything run seamlessly. Thanks to their professionalism and care, what could have been a stressful process turned into a smooth and hassle-free experience.

Had an appointment with Tanith at the Woodlands Development in Sturry at the weekend and had to write a review because in comparison to other developers this experience was by far the best. Tanith made us feel comfortable and confident that we would be getting a high end service and house. We had all of options explained to us when it came to plot choices, schemes and finer details (great knowledge). Once we’ve had time to process the information and options we’ll be back to hopefully find our new home!

I am currently still within the two-year warranty period with David Wilson Homes on the Finchwood Park development in Wokingham. My experience attempting to resolve defects through their New Home Care Team has been deeply disappointing and increasingly frustrating.
For several months, I have been dealing with a persistent and significant creaking issue with my staircase. Initially, I was told that the issue was the result of a standard stairgate installed for my baby. Frankly, this explanation raises serious concerns regarding the quality and robustness of the construction, given that the staircase appears unable to accommodate one of the most commonly used type of stairgates. More importantly, the issue has continued — and has in fact spread to additional steps — despite the stairgate having been removed entirely.
I have now spent over a month repeatedly attempting to obtain a response from the New Home Care Team and I am now just being ignored. Although attempts were previously made to rectify the staircase issue, the workmanship was evidently substandard and has ultimately exacerbated the problem rather than resolve it.
Beyond this issue, I have also encountered a broader lack of care and attention in the remedial work undertaken throughout the property. For example, following work carried out beneath the carpets, several areas of carpet were left improperly refitted, to the extent that the carpet now lifts away from the skirting boards during routine vacuuming.
The quality of the paintwork throughout the property has similarly been poor. Any attempt to repaint walls results in the original paint layer peeling away, making even basic redecorating unnecessarily difficult. This again reflects what appears to be a lack of quality control and attention to finish during construction.
What is particularly disappointing is the stark contrast in responsiveness before and after completion of the HBF homeowner survey. Prior to the survey being submitted, issues were addressed promptly and attentively; however, the level of service has deteriorated considerably since. In my view, the much-advertised five-star HBF rating is highly misleading, as the homeowner questionnaires seem only to capture experiences from the initial weeks or months following purchase, rather than reflecting the longer-term quality of aftercare and workmanship homeowners actually receive.
