Had Dyno Rod out via the council about a blocked drain before Christmas. Guy came, showed him the drain, I went back inside, looked out the window 5 minutes later and he'd gone!
Come January we still have the same issue,
Second guy comes out beginning of February, think his name was Devon, very helpful, said the drain was full of stones, dirt and grit and that we'd need a survey done, no notes from previous job. Survey booked for end of February, in the meantime the drain is over flowing and now with toilet waste floating around the garden.
Dyno visit again and need to access a waste drain at the end of the drive, 4 corners which need lifting, same guy as the first time who said they need to get 2 corners open to lift it? Can't get it open he says, well you wouldn't, undoing 2 opposite corners!
Leaves a young lad to try and sort it while he gets his van with his pressure stuff, shoves it down the drain, sticks it in a pipe in the wall and takes a picture, says all clear. He then starts cleaning up and blasts all the dirt and soil we'd dug out back into the drain! Said hopefully that will do it till your survey...no, 2 days later it's blocked again with toilet waste. 3 times theyve been out this month and the problem has got worse.
4th time the council came out, said theres a blockage between the waste pipe down the drive and the house so Dyno need to put a camera down and they'll be with us the next day, 4 days later no sign of them. Spoke to the council and they have said Dyno rod said they can't get into the drain so left in limbo.
The 2nd guy said they can go down the drain at the house end if they can't get the cover up so I dont see what the problem is! Another few days yet until the survey so looks like we'll just have to wait for that and hope the sewage doesnt come back up into the house🙄

Blocked kitchen drain. Local companies wouldn't even come back to me following enquiries. Dyno rod turned up when they said they would, problem solved - very professional. Not the cheapest but guaranteed turning up and customer service has a price I suppose!

Arranged online on Friday & the engineer was there first thing Monday. Identified the source of blockage & then went about clearing it. Job completed in 1/2 am hour.
Technician was polite & authorative. Excellent company to do business with.

Used Dyno Rod in 2023 for blocked toilet issue they were very helpful then and they were helpful 17-2-2026. Came out on the day gave me advice as the day before I called out Absolute Drainage that made me pay out 800£ because they said it was a gully issue further more they wanted extra 1500£ because they couldn’t unblock the gutter. I had no choice but to get a second opinion and that is when Stuart came out and unblocked it in 2mins . Sometimes change can be costly!

The drain engineer contacted me to let me know his estimated arrival time, he was extremely polite and carried out a first class service he is certainly a credit to your company, he was extremely thorough and made sure blockage was completely removed

The engineer Stuart was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Arrived on time. Cleared the blockage,all round good service.

Called Dyno-Rod as I had a Blocked drain & sewerage was coming up. They plunged drain and jet washed, verdict collapsed drain,cost me £195 for call out ,they would forward quote for repair. Cost would be £1150 + vat. Got Shell Drainage out, they plunged drain, and Bingo cleared blockage, jet washed all pipes used camera to check all outlets were clear. Superb job. Dyno Road waste of £195.

The man who attended was quick yet efficient, polite & solved the problem.
I have had many workmen in and out of my house and a thing that goes a long way for me is respect of my home, without me needing to ask or prompt before entering my house he covered his shoes with plastic covers as it was raining outside. I can’t tell you the amount of workmen that do not do this anymore

Booked online via British gas due to a burst valve under kitchen sink, water turned off.
Appointment for 1-6 pm rang at 4pm for an update to be told it had been taken off the system due to a more urgent call out and they could fit me in the day after on the 15th.
Could of contacted me so I could of looked for another plumber to help when taken into account the cold weather and no water or heating.
They deal more with drain problems and not plumbing as stated with poor customer service
