Excellent service from Mateus who replaced a non-working tap with expertise and care
A good job well done and a excellent operative who cleared the problem
Engineer Langston Grogan found out where source of problem was causing backup of drain and sewage water onto my terraced house property back garden area. The blockage issue was not on my property but outside front wall of neighbours house on their land adjacent to street, this being a blockage at that location twelve feet below street level.
His perseverance and tracing of the pipe network on old Victorian drainage layouts was excellent work and he solved the issue by using all equipment including a high pressure hose to target that blockage twelve feet below street level. It worked and he did a great job which my neighbours benefited from as well as myself. Stephen McCabe.
Our developer arranged the order with Dyno for us because our kitchen sink is clogged up. They contacted me once at 18:50 but I missed the call and I called back 10 mins later. They said they will come that night. I called them three time to confirm the status and they keep telling me they will come tonight but turn out they didnt come. On the next day I call them again and they say they will come today and no doubt, no one come. I call them again to check and Dyno say our order has been cancelled because they cannot reach me, the fact is that no one call me after the first call and they keep telling us they will come. It is ridiculous that our order is cancelled suddenly and the issue still not yet sloved.
Excellent on the day service, with a fixed price.
Only fault is lack of contact from customer services - eg txt message needed at least a day before: we are visiting you tommorow, we will call you before the visit to confirm.
Otherwise its all up in the air if anyone will show up on the day.
Called to make a booking, pressed one on the phone number, explained my situation and mentioned i am calling to make a booking. Got transferred to the East London branch spoke to Owana. Waited 20 minutes on hold to get told I have to call British Gas. I have used them before overpriced and unnecessarily complicated. Don’t bother. Use someone else.
Well what can I say; despite my friend for a number of years taking out the home care policy from British Gas (believing due to their reputation they offer a high quality service) unfortunately when needed they failed to deliver.
Since before Christmas she has been coming around for hot showers (which I welcome!) as she only has cold water at home. Whilst BG and Dyno have offered various options; appointments have been cancelled without notice, and much confusion and delays, we are now waiting for an appointment in another few weeks which may or may not happen.
I would not encourage anyone to sign on to BG Home Care Cover whilst they subcontract Dyno
We have come to Dyno via British Home Care.... like many of the other reviewers, we have found the experience completely unbearable and frankly, a little dehumanising. Engineers cancel at the last minute without any explanation. This happens so frequently that a booking with Dyno loses all meaning. Attempts to contact Dyno directly are futile - they either don't answer the phone or promise to glibly promise to call back (which, of course, never happens). They have sent massive equipment to our building, but they lack any intention of installing it, so it simply remains in the entranceway, a fire hazard. They do not respond to emails and they stonewall British Gas. The process has been going on for nearly two months and there is no end in sight. I think many people opt for Home Care for the peace of mind... This is a mistake; Dealing with Dyno will quickly compromise you sanity.
It's been over 2 months without hot water.
Dyno routinely cancels appointments on the day and reschedules them for weeks later.
Costumer service is close to non existence.
And all of this while laying for home care.
A complete failure of Dyno and British gas.
10/10 Was thinking it was going to be a big problem with my outside drain as I can’t locate manhole dean was so helpful got the job done for me within 35 minutes at a reasonable price
Been paying for homecare for years, the one time I need them for a cracked pipe coming off my WC they waste a week by sending in a guy from Dyno Rod. Despite telling them the issue, he did not know what he was there to look at and he did not know what a clay pipe was. He could not do anything, then I was told the next time they can rebook is in another weeks time. I could have, and will have to get a local plumber to sort this out.
Promised call back after call back and just left hanging with no toilet. You can't even get through to Dyno Rod.
Awful awful service.
There's no service to speak of.
Have been chasing them via chat, voicemail, phone, emails.
Emails and voicemails go unanswered, they just don't pick up the phone either.
I had an appointment booked with Dyno plumbing in london’s through British Gas. First appointment did not turn up no phone call. For same job have had about 5 appointments. The last one did half the job. Booked another appointment. On the day no one turned up. Called the office, their answer was, the plumber who was booked the job has left the company and longer their employee. They said they tried calling me but no answer. I asked why not said a email or text message as they do when they book the job. No obvious answer given. “We are sorry, will have to book another day. Now have been booked for 16/01/23. Just waiting. The job has taken 3 months
Efficient and cleared the blockage. Fairly quick too. Would have been even better if patio was washed down more afterwards
Very efficient cleared my block toilet without any fuss. And told me what the problem was
They came, they saw, they unblocked my sink of grease and grime. Very quick service. Very pleased with the work they carried out.
I am a British Gas customer and Dyno have been assigned to have my cylinder repaired or replaced. I have been having this problem since early September and now we are in late November.
Dyno's engineers failed to turn up on a number of occasions and when they did they were totally clueless and deferred the problem. Now 3 months later my tenants have been without hot water and electricity due to the leak caused by the cylinder for a number of weeks. Dyno's services is absolutely below par and this company cannot be trusted......
Although I had to wait a few days for the arrival of Dyno I was so grateful that my drainage problem was sorted very quickly
Very friendly chap too
Turned up within an hour of getting quote. Fixed the problem quickly and cleanly. Also went the extra mile to come up with a solution to prevent drain blocking again.
