Great service
Great service, friendly staff, will use again on my next travel
Not good.
At Luton airport.
Our plane was delayed and we landed over an hour late. When we went to pick up the rental car, the process took over 20 minutes, because the one computer they have on site would not connect and required 5-7 minutes to reboot.
Twice.
When we complained upon the 2nd reboot, the girl at the desk said "it probably isn't working because you're late." At an airport.
Which is a ridiculous excuse for a computer not working. No apology, nothing.
Disgraceful.
We were already running massively late for a family event and this just made it worse.
Add to that, I dropped the car back after doing around 100 miles and they charged me extra for apparently having done over 500. I will not be using Easement again if humanly possible.

Been left with two little kids in airport.
In a companies website saying that You can pick up car after working hours for additional charge. (£40 for hour). One of the workers contact me in a day time and we spoke about that. He said it is not a problem until we will inform them. Our flight was late. I contact them and said that I might be late 10-20 min and I can pay for that. Person on the phone was very rude. He said his not going to wait. And working hours is till 00:30.
I was late 12 minutes. And have to wait till 6AM in a airport until they will reopen.
Very dissapointment!!! Will never use this company again, and not goint to recommend it to anyone!

Professional Fraudsters
I have given 1 star as I'm unable to give 0. Professional fraudsters, stay well away. Picked up a car late at night, drove 15 mins to the hotel and when we woke in the morning we noticed a crack in the windscreen. I emailed Easi rent with no reply and was charged £135 on returning the car even though I had a date stamped photo from the morning. I was advised as I didn't have a photo from the previous night it didn't count. The car was picked up at 10.30pm so I'm unsure how you'd be able to notice a crack in pitch black.
Absolute joke of a company.
Surprisingly good
I hired a car from Easirent at Liverpool airport last week. I needed a 5 seater - my own car is a 4 seater - as we were taking our 3 Aussie grandchildren on a 6 day holiday. I booked it a while ago and got an amazing price ….. then I read the reviews on Trustpilot and quickly became very concerned at the poor reviews. In fact I almost cancelled (it was free cancellation). However, I had a back up plan if things didn’t work out so, with some trepidation, I went to the Liverpool airport Easirent premises. My fears - based on the poor reviews - were totally unfounded. There was a bit of a queue so I had a 15 min wait. Not ideal, but okay. The woman on reception was friendly and helpful (I read the T’s & C’s and rules beforehand, so I was well prepared with the necessary documentation etc). She quickly processed my paperwork and took me to the car. The car was just what I ordered - it was less than a year old and had a low mileage. Because of the reviews I had read, I took pics of all the tiny marks/scratches on the car. The Easirent employee then pointed out the ones I had missed! Very helpful.
The car was great - no issues during the 6 days I had it - and when I returned it, there were no issues. The guy from Easirent quickly went round the car, took a note of the mileage and my holding deposit was returned to me. Simple!
I realise that people who write reviews often have a gripe with a company but I really was pleasantly surprised at the good service and deal I got from Easirent.

used car hire service a few times from luton airport, amazing service every time, can't fault the lads at all, definitely recommend
Theft
Made up damage- for a so called dent that was invisible. This is clearly a modud operendi - they took over 1000 pounds from my cc. No receipt. DO NOT USE THEM
AVOID!
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
Absolute rip-off!
They accepted my booking from the Kayak website and then almost doubled the price when I arrived to collect the car, claiming that I had to take their extortionately priced insurance as “they didn’t accept Axa excess insurance “
Then they proceeded to still take a £1,500 deposit!
As I was travelling on EasyJet Staff Travel, I will make sure as many colleagues as possible learn what an underhand, unscrupulous bunch of thieves this company are!
Rip off on insurance 249 pound for 5days
I was charge 249 pound as rhey didnt accept my card to take the caution, i used the same card i used to book and pay online. Total rip off, very desapointed and nothing was mentioned at booking.
Good Experience
Hired a car with Easirent via Rentalcars.com app as they were the cheapest.
I have given 4 out of 5 stars only due to location , they are not onsite at the airport circa 4-5 miles away at Airparks but there is a free courtesy bus running every 30 mins. For the purpose of balance the Avis pick up is a courtesy bus too just a little closer .
Hired a small car ( fiat 500 size ) but when I arrived got upgraded to brand new 4 door MG , car was excellent .
The £1500 ‘deposit ‘ on my credit card got me worried as I had only a month before hired a car with Avis who took only £300 . This prompted me to look at the reviews on Trustpilot which made me think they were going to find something wrong with the car on my return .
Took it back , did the handover with Phil ( very friendly ) , no issues with car or fuel I had returned in the vehicle . The £1500 sat on my credit card as pending for a few days and noticed today it’s gone and no extra charges. The company didn’t ask me to leave this review but had I read some of the previous bad experiences I would probably not have hired from them so I thought I would post my positive experience.
Car hire Luton
So far a very good experience. Booking process via online chat was easy and booking confirmation with detailed process information emailed shortly after. Free shuttle from airport which does take c15mins, & out towards M1. Not sure if there is a timetable - we only waited about 10 mins but you could be unlucky as only run every half hour. Young lady at Easirent check in was very pleasant, professional & organised. She was the only one working & we were 4th in queue. So more staff would have been helpful. Make sure you have enough credit facility on your CC for the £1500 deposit - this did cause a problem for others (cards declined) & resulted in one having to take Easirent excess insurance. Note also - if you have insurance with an alternative provider you will still need to agree the deposit. Another nice employee checked over the car with us in the dark with a torch & noted defects on a sheet (there were quite a few chips & a major scratch). He assured us we could take our own pictures etc in the morning in daylight. After we left we realised he did not give us a copy of the defects sheet. So as I said, so far so good. If return process is as smooth it will have been a very good experience all round & substantially cheaper than some other providers.
Total joke of a company
Total joke of a company. Waited ages for transfer bus because this joke of a portacabin is not situated at the hire car centre like all the proper companies. When I eventually got there my car was not ready and then after sitting around for an hour I was told they wouldn’t provide me with a car because I had 7 points. Avoid at all costs and pay that little bit extra for a proper hire car company
Cheap cars to rent
Cheap cars to rent, when I went to pick up the car the guy there checked the car with the nail for scratches. He warned me that if don’t get the full assurance I can be reliable to pay for any extra scratches.
After I gave the car back I received an email stating that I made an extra 600 miles that I was charged extra. I went back to them and double checked the miles and they said that someone made a mistake. I had to chase them a couple of times in order to get my money back.
I don’t recommend. Or beware.
Easirent are professional scammers
Easirent are professional scammers. Their main business is charging fraudulent excess charges. In my opinion, this is pre mediated business plan of theirs which in some ways is the perfect crime. There simply take your money and then leave it up to you to try and get a refund from your credit card company or take them to court. The worse scenario for them is they have to pay you back the money they scammed from you. There is no penalty or downside for them.
In my case before I rented the car, they put tape/stickers covering up damage. No staff were not present when I returned the car even though it was at 8.15 and their website says they are open from 6.30. They then take off the stickers and photographed damage that I did not cause and was there all the time. The stickers were in a very clever inconspicuous place on the inside edge of the driver’s door. These stickers would not be normally noticeable, and it was pure fluke then I took a video with this door open when I dropped off the car. If I had shut the door or just taken photos of the outside of the door then it wouldn’t have shown up.
Avoid them like the plague unless you have money to spare and wish to donate to them. Do not believe a word they say in their response- In my opinion these people are crooks. I have reported them to action fraud but doubt any further action will be taken but got a refund from my credit card company.
Do not use this company
Do not use this company. Although cheap, as I found out to my cost they have appalling to nonexistent customer service. When the car broke down they failed to assist until the following day and when they could be contacted they were generally rude and misinformed me about what to do. To cap it all they are still keeping a block on my credit card 25 days after the car was returned in perfect order with a full tank. As a regular user of hire cars this was by far the worst experience I have ever had.

Awful experience with this Car hire…
Awful experience with this Car hire company. Booked a rental way in advance of my arrival and they still managed to not give me a car on the day. Arrived tired and my flight was in the evening ( 10pm ) so was looking forward to getting where I wanted to go and to get some rest. Instead on arrival to the rental desk I was told that I do not have a car to take away that evening. I mean it it was very disappointing to say the least and to use the nice words here. I had to stay in a hotel in Luton for which I gave Easi Rent the receipt and even after two weeks of my rental ending they still not have sent my money back. Would not recommend this company to anyone as they are not trust worthy.
The only good thing I could say about this rental was the kind chap Mark who was very understanding and under the circumstances gave me a free upgrade to a bigger car.
