Good low cost service

I just wanted to share our experience of Easybus. We booked travel from Geneva to Morzine on 9th January, returning on 12th January 2017. We booked before reading the reviews, and were then understandably anxious that the buses may not arrive! However, both buses arrived on time and the drivers were polite and helpful. Would recommend this low cost service based on our experience.

Does not do its service. Unprofessional

I booked and paid for a ticket to Gatwick airport a week in advance and had it printed with me.
After the bus came with 40 minutes delay I could not get in, because all the seats were occupied.
The driver had explained me that Easybus use the practise of selling more tickets than actually having seats. So I almost missed my flight and even after writing a complaint on their website I did not get my money back.
I would not count on their services as a reliable traveling service and wouldn't recommend anyone to do so.

NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Booked Easybus from Gatwick to London on 29.12.2016. Gatwick had smog, so our plane arrived a bit later than planned. Still, we should have got an Easybus ride within the 60 minutes time range. The first bus came, but the driver didn't take any passengers, he wanted to have a break. The second bus came 45 minutes later, but the driver throwed us out of the bus after other passangers came and claimed their seats. The third bus came and didn't take us with because of the time range was over 60 minutes meanwhile. This bus left with 5 free seats to London without us three and another passenger. So we took the Gatwick Express train to London.
I paid for three 28 GBP for nothing! I surely want my money back. And I surely will write every each travel guide book author which do have this transport possibility in their latest versions.
Easybus has very rude drivers. And, Easybus has no solutions what to do with stranded passengers.
NEVER AGAIN! AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Geneva to Avoriaz never showed up f …

Geneva to Avoriaz never showed up for outbound or returned. Complained to franchise owner 'Cham express' who denied all knowledge of the bus and told me I was rude and lying. Andy (franchise owner) left us and a family with young children out in the cold for 1.5 hours with no explanation and no apology.

When we finally got a driver he was on the job for 2 day, didn't know the area and about to quit.

Dreadful.

Wow unbelievable rubbisb

Booking 7828478063

Easybus sold me a ticket for a bus that does not exist. The 2330 does not run tonight. And I have no seat on the 0030.

By not having a contact number to deal with this type of issue the company is totally irresponsible.

Need to reclaim taxi cost. Plus I would like to complain to the regulator. Would appreciate advice how I do so.

Do not be fooled by the cheap fare

This bus is operated by National Express. Note that you are charged an additional booking fee over the fare quoted so the prices increases slightly. The bus service is unreliable. Do not buy a ticket in advance as the bus may not arrive. The terms and conditions of business do not comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the fare is relatively cheap so many customers do not bother to complain if they lose their money. That is why this service can get away with poor service. The best option is not to use them as there are alternative transport methods available.

Coach never arrived!

I booked a ticket for 22 September at 4.20am from Waterloo to Stansted airport and the bus never arrived. I was standing on my own in the middle of the night, waited 30 minutes and the bus never came.
I do not need to say how important it is to get to the airport on time. How can you sell service that you never provide? This is utterly disgraceful. This caused me so much distress. As the coach never arrived I needed to make alternative arrangements and book Uber taxi. I wrote a formal complaint on 2nd October to which I received a reply that someone will respond to me, however I never heard back from Easy Bus. I wrote subsequent messaged on 28th October, then 16th and 22nd November and no luck. I expect a full refund and payment for my uber ride.

Bad organisation, never again

Too many people who booked the same time who could not enter the bus. The local bus service is overchallenged. They were not able to organise the queue, unfriendly and did not provide any information. So everyone was running to the bus ddor and a lot of people got in trouble to catch their flight on time because the companies like easybus sell to many tickets for one bus.

Never turn up

Wrong address on the ticket

47 York road, Waterloo. It's written on the ticket. Well it came 20 mins late and guess what? Wasn't stopping there.

Had to get uber for 70 pounds. Do not use this service.

USELESS AND TRUSTLESS

I HAVE MADE A COMPLAINT ALREADY BUT IT IS NEVER TO MUCH .
USED TO BE GREAT AND SINCE THE GREEN LINE DOESN´T WORK WITH EASY BUS ANYMORE ,IT IS ALWAYS A CAOS AT THE LUTON AIRPORT. AND THE SHUTLE I TOOK ONCE TO GATWICK FROM NEAR EARLS COURT AND IT WAS A DISASTER. EVERYONE COMPLAINING THEY WERE VERY LATE ETC. AND THE DRIVERS NOT NICE AT ALL AND THEN DRIVING LIKE THEY WERE RUNNING FORMULA ONE!!!!
I WILL START TAKING THE OTHER COMPANIES IF YOU DON´T GET IT STRAIGHT AGAIN

The bus never turned up

Looking at the other reviews it seems this is happening on a regular basis.
Another lady with her son and me were both forced to make alternative arrangements and we both just by minutes managed to make it to the flight.
They work together with Airport Express bus company.
I made a formal complaint on both platforms and also submitted an email request.

Still no replies they should close down these misleading and unreliable companies...

You don't even get what you pay for

More often than not, Easybus leaves me far more out of pocket than had I taken National Express - twice then bus showed up to a different stop in Waterloo than was marked on their ticket - forcing me to share a taxi with the other misled easybus passengers. Just awful - and of course no customer support or reply to emails or any hope of recompense. Easybus is the transportation version of a blocked sewage drain.

No buses. Had to take taxi and train. Still waiting for refund...

Due to engineering works between Victoria and Croydon there were no trains or Gatwick express services running to Gatwick airport. I ordered an easybus. It was due at Vauxhall at 18.40. It didn't show. I waited until the next service at 19.10. Nothing. With no number to call I had no option but to get a taxi to Croydon and a train to Gatwick. A cost of approx 28 pounds.

I have tried to reclaim my money from easybus using their claim form but have heard nothing. Would be interested to know how I can take further legal action against Easybus for this negligence.

Shambles

Had exactly the same experience as Adam Boorman below. Had to buy a ticket on the national express instead so as not to miss my flight. Thanks for the heart attack "easy" bus. Never again, or your airline.

Times of Stratford - Stansted airport wrong

EasyBus use Airport Bus Express services on the Stratford to London Stansted route. However, I was sold a ticket on a 06:55 bus which doesn't exist, the next one was an hour and a quarter later. Always check the timings against the timetable on the Airport Bus Express website and best to book with them directly. Turns out the closest bus to this time should have been 06:40.

bus did not pick us up

We had valid tickets to Gatwick, but the bus drivers did not pick us up. We had to go to Victoria Station and travel by train, which cost us a lot of extra money. We wrote to them claiming a refund, but they did not even reply.
