Never received my part. Didn't want a refund but to receive my part. Ebay didn't do anything and never tried to fin the part. Just refunded which is not the solution I wanted. Poor service. Will never use again.

I registrated as an individual seller on ebay. A buyer placed an order for a Nintendo e-shop gift card (100 euros) from me 2 months ago. He requested for the code after payment. I sent him the code and asked him to activate it on his Switch console. He took the code but did not respond. Today, ebay said to me that the seller opened a case of dispute from his bank and requested for the refund for this order because he would not recognise this transaction. He does not mention whether he has used the code or not. Since his transaction involves a lot of money (120 euros), it is possible that he had used the code to add value to his Nintendo account already, since all reasonable people would examine it carefully for such a lot of money. This buyer has never communicated with me after he received the code, but opened a case of dispute after 2 months. This buyer seems to squeeze the law to request for a refund without a fair reason. I guess that this buyer even have planned for doing so before ordering. If his bank insists to refund him even if there is no problem of my product (and he has used the code), I consider to apply for a legal aid from the French government and charge this buyer on the court. It wastes time and effort to do so, but it’s not a method to let them do so.

Never using again. Bought and paid for an item. Delivery date 4days. Checked tracker still not with courier. Contacted seller was told being sent from UK warehouse. Courier say its coming from China. Had I known would have looked elsewhere. Ebay should check their sellers out. Have been lied too.Ebays days are numbered used to be my first port of call now it never again.

ebay is a scam and liar app. don't buy or sell anything here.

Awful client service.Unfair transaction not to trust at all.Sold a tablet,sent it fast with proof.Buyer claims didn't receive it. eBay asks me for a remboursement to the buyer and I don't get my tablet back.Disaster.

Its good because they sell older stuff and stuff amazon wouldn't sell but its annoying because a lot of features are disabled and whats the point what if I wanted to send something with someone else

The customer service is non-existent. You get an issue, you spend hours talking to their 'representatives' but really, nobody will ever help you.
You're going to lose money. that's the only truth about ebay that will always be true for anyone using this platform.

I have no idea what Ebay think is happening but have not been able to buy anything due to hackers and being blocked for nearly a year. Tells me to send an email, fill in the form and it says I have sent too many emails try again tomorrow

ellll_37 is a dishonest seller. Object ordered and paid for, but the seller never sent the object and does not even respond to my messages. Ebay closes the file without even trying to find a solution, and does not operate the guarantee, although I am a very good customer. I spend a lot of money on ebay and always pay very quickly. I'm usually happy with ebay, but this is not normal ! Thank you ebay and this dishonest seller !!!

Received damaged item from a seller. Seller not helpful, delaying replacement and sending threatening emails...Very professional NOT! Ebay most helpful stepping in to resolve my complaint professionally and efficiently..Happy customer to date......

0 stars eBay have teamed up with a seller and stole from me ,I will explain I bought 4 items as a whole package , it was suppose to be 2-3 days delivery but was 10 . I reported to eBay becouse seller didn’t reply to me when I advised only half the contents arrived , becouse of the absolutely stupid way of drop down boxes to report anything ebay stuffed up when the seller shown delivery details .I wasn’t complaining the items didn’t arrive anymore just only half the contents ebay closed the case ?? I have now contacted PayPal and have to wait 48hrs but as it stands technically right now I have paid for 4 items from this seller through ebay and only received 2 of them and ebay have closed the case becouse I couldn’t see a drop down box to say only some of the items have arrived they are as responsible as the seller for allowing this to happen

Ebay has had its day. It's a disaster, a sinking ship with the sellers left with no life boat whilst the buyers have occupied all the space and got a free holiday to boot.
I recently listed in Ebay for the 1st time in years. I'd previously had a business on ebay selling a lot of stock daily. This was about 7 years ago. This time around was I in for a shock. I listed many items the cheapest around £12 going up into just under £1000. I sold 1 item for £15.50 and was told I'd have to wait a month for payment as I was new seller. Now they've added another 5 days on whilst they apparently investigate an issue.
That's not my main problem. I was informed I'd sold an item for £950, great I thought. Then I got an email from the buyer asking me to message them on watsapp as they would like a photo of said item with my username on as "you can't be to careful nowadays". I installed WhatsApp like a fool. I then got a few messages after sending said proof. The end result was this long message with a border around it (copy and paste) making it obvious. They asked me would I be able to also send £200 amazon gift card as she was now in USA and was sending this to a friend. Omg I couldn't believe it. I told them no this is a scam and they disappeared. I informed ebay and reported the buyer. Asked for the sale to be cancelled with no charges to me. I changed my ebay settings not to allow anyone with 0 sales or feedback to be able to purchase from me. Did this stop them, no! In fact 6 more times this happened. Well not the watsapp because I would never go that far again. They would pretend they've bought my listing/s them send the usual email to add them on watsapp or another social media site. It was so frustrating and tiring. I complained again after the 2nd time was reassured it was safe but it wasnt. 6 times it happened.
I informed Ebay and told them I'm removing all my listings. That they cant keep me safe and they're the only selling site I've had issues like this with. I've just had the usual "we're sorry but rest assured we take this seriously etc.
The reality is they havent even removed the x 3 different buyers with no feedback or sales that tried to scam me. Furthermore even though I'd changed my settings they still let buyers with no feedback or sales to purchase from me. Its exhausting!!!!!!

Ebay you are done. You do not look after the seller. You punish the seller always and favour the buyer even when its blatantly obvious they're are in wrong (past experiences from 7 years ago). You also cant keep your buyers safe from scammers. It's so easy to set up an account and purchase or pretend to purchase from the real genuine sellers, then you leave these sellers frustrated, disillusioned and robbed.
I would advise anyone thinking of selling your goods on this site to re think, etsy is a safer option though they gave become more like Ebay too as in siding always with the buyer.
I wasted my time creating listings but you can be certain I wont be wasting another second on ebay nor will I be giving them any more of my money.
Ebay I salute you, you're officially the worst selling site in the uk.well done!

I've been trying to redeem my money for a year but an error always appears to try later, customer service doesn't work. I tried in the chat and they hang up the chat in the middle of the conversation I tried to send a written letter but they never answered me

Letting aside the poor look and feel, and the fact that it is completely unusable - features difficult to find, etc...
the fact is that ebay is the worst site for selling and buying objects.
Tried to sell my camera , been contacted by 3 scammers in 2 days. Those scammers have been reported but no action taken by ebay.
once you report scams and try to put your item back for sale, you just can't, as the item is blocked.
In fact i cancelled everything, and left ebay, instead of fighting. I thought that was the best option: by not helping them to improve, they may by bankrupt earlier, which would be a good thing, for th esake of everyone. Long live amazon!

Ebay's Global Shipping Programs' only use is to illegally gouge and steal money from non-US customers. Any time an American Ebay retailer sells an item to someone outside the USA, some company called Pitney Bowes blindly adds a %15 charge to the item's final value, on top of the sellers shipping and handling fees, for no apparent reason. The buyer has no option to opt out of this bogus service. These unfair and unjust fees are forced on the buyer illegally. It's nothing but a scam and Canadians are tired of being taken advantage of!!

It has nothing to do with shipping or handling. We know this because the seller takes the item to a USPS Post Office, the same as they always did. There is no way USPS would know to forward this particular piece of mail to some third party handler, as opposed to any other piece of mail. They simply deliver this item as they do any other item, for the normal rate. As well, this has nothing to do with taxes or duties. Pitney Bowes just blindly adds a fee to any item's final price, regardless of the item's tax eligibility. In many cases, there is NO TAX to be charged on a particular parcel, however this does not seem to make any difference.

Ebay and Paypal. Shame on you for allowing PITNEY BOWES to money-grab your customers. This should be illegal, but unfortunately we will have to sue Ebay, Paypal and Pitney Bowes for fraud in a class-action lawsuit. It is horrendous that a company allows a third party to steal from their customers like this.
