EBay did not honour there Buyer Guarantee. I did not receive my item or my money back. Seller sent the item to the incorrect address (different to the one I requested) but because the seller had tracking showing delivery to the wrong address, my request for a refund was refused. Overall, I have now lost over £400 and eBay have not bothered to look into my case. I am extremely disappointed in how I have been treated. EBay are falsely advertising a Buyer Guarantee which they do not honour and actually doesn't offer any real protection to me.

I ordered Mineral fusion blush from a seller and she cancelled the order due to none in stock or damaged item.
The seller claims that she refunded my money to Ebay and told me to contact Ebay. I filed a complaint with Ebay after contacting the seller several times and Ebay has not responded or refunded my money. I will no longer do business with Ebay.

Déshumanised customer service. Can’t help you in anyway. Nice platform for buyers to scam sellers without any evidence. Tip for buyers: Do not open a professional account with eBay France.

I'm writing this as a buyer. I made ONE order on eBay, and it was catastrophic. Seller never answered or responded, never sent the package and deleted their account before the shipment date. No way of contacting them anymore, I try to ask for a refund through eBay, because it's clear I got scammed, the seller registered A SONY CAMERA as REAL ESTATE. Real estate is a catgegory that is NOT COVERED by eBay guarantee, but I show every proof the seller lied and it's not a real estate property.
Their response? In simple words: "Real estate is not covered by eBay guarantee, you should look into your payment provider to solve this".
My "payment provider", so my bank, can't do anything. ebay is the only one that can get this solved, and now I need to file a police report. I would put a negative score if I could

Conclusion of it all: I'll never ever buy them again because of their incompetency and because of their ways of treating the customers. For me, this is utter disrespect.

After have use ebay for years to buy staff one day a tried to sell my old projector.
So directly ebay decide that I was selling something stolen and they have restricted my account and send me an aggressive email where they have start to ask me a lot of documents. so i told myself that when i had the time i would take care of it (I have a full time day job).
And less then 2 monts later I was about to send all the ridiculous documents they asked and surprise my account is definitely suspended without any further explication they just says that I'm danger for the community. Of course when you try to contact them is impossible you get just useless automated email

Worst website ever. I usually bought iteams but once i got a bad iteam for a value of 450 euro and once i demande reimbursement as they have a 30 day reimbursement program. They blocked my account and made it so the seller kept the iteam and the money so a double loss.

I put one star because you can't put zero. I ordered a DVD via eBay, the price was debited on my bank account 2 days later, I got a mail from eBay informing on delivery 5 to 6 days after ordering. This was in April, the DVD never came. I managed to get hold of the seller's email, who responded after 2 attempts that eBay had not paid him, so he didn't ship the item. When I tried to go and check my order status on the eBay site, I found out that my eBay account had been suspended indefinitely (!!!) thus preventing me from making any inquiry. In short, eBay took my money, never delivered or re-imbursed, and was never available to help or comment. Should they wish to respond or refund me, my order number was 20-06880-55059. In any case, I will NEVER use eBay again.

Chinese sellers only selling Chinese product expect 5 weeks of delivery very bad quality product no one to help at the customer service

Horrible customer service. You're always talking to the wrong person. Then you need to wait, wait longer, then the new agent cannot help you neither, you wait a bit more, they hung up the phone. You call again, wait for 30 minutes again. Then they tell you someone will contact you by email. 5 days later, email arrives but does not help solve my issue.
I've called more than 10 times now and lost around 5-7 hours of my time (and mental health. Do not underestimate the ability of such things to make you go crazy)

I am not even talking about all the chinese sellers selling overexpensive crap that take ages to arrives while they say they actually ship from an european country.

Also the new payment system is crap. They sey "now you'll get your money even fast!" HOW IS THE NEW PAYMENT SYSTEM FASTER? ITS EVERYTHING BUT FAST AND EFFICIENT

J'invite tout le monde à attirer l'attention de la DGCCRF sur les pratiques d'Ebay France.

Two years now i'm using this website for selling and buying as well. Communication with the staff is often really hard, what to do in order to gain visibility with your offers is not obvious at all (in fact: it's random), commission are ridiculously hight, and to receive gain of cause in case of problem as a seller is pure hell ! By the way: the policy of this website for protecting the interests of a seller in case of problem is truly disgusting (to refund a Buyer in case of parcel lost or detained in custody and NOT giving any help to the seller for, at least, figured out what happened.. Really ?)

Are you a seller ?! especially do not sell on Ebay ...! and above all, do not use Paypal
If you want to waste time and money, do it !!!

Ebay is ebay. Good things and bad things. Good system that take care of customers. a lot of purchases without more than the usual issues when you purchase second hand items.
