Joined E7 energy at the end of March
Joined E7 energy at the end of March. The transfer was easy and they kept me informed all the way through. The DD amount they took was exactly as they quoted at the start (if my previous supplier had done this I probably wouldn't have moved).
Sorting out my final bill with my previous supplier and E7 Energy were able to help me with that as well using the chat facility on their web site (thanks to Farha for that) which was very quick and smooth.
All in all REALLY glad that I moved. So far all looking good, so I can finally relax and budget properly.

Very pleased with the chat service
Very pleased with the chat service, was super helpful, quick, efficient and agreeable (thumbs up to Nadeem and Sam!). Moreover, you get an email with the chat afterwards so that you can go back to it if needed.

Sign up was easy enough
Sign up was easy enough, though it was complicated by some quite assertive and questioning e mails asking me to justify my low usage. The line of questioning was seen as impersonal and demanding / authoritarian etc! I didn't understand this as usage would be determined by use and readings! It felt like I had to justify reasons for applying? Went with it cos' its not many companies will take you as a light user, but felt compromised!
I applied cos' I like that this company is somewhat ethical and my past supplier had screwed me by changing tariff to making a minimum usage charge :(, not on btw!, as there was no way I could use the amount of gas per annum that they set as a minimum, Therefore you pay even if you don't use it...Shame as had been with em' for umpteen years.
Anyway, on to this company! Bit annoying that received e mail few days before switch over asking for meter readings, however I have not received anything to open my online account. This came half a day or so later, so all sorted but not robust procedure there!
I have given 3 stars as that's as fair as I can be at this stage. Lets see how it goes but I am hoping that as this is a small company and has ethical policies that all will be ok? Lets see?

When you first sign up to ourselves, we give you a quote based on the figures that you inputted (or if you selected the low, medium, high option) following your registration, we then receive 'flows' which let us know your usage based on 2 years' worth of usage. We email you to confirm that this information is correct to ensure that your Direct Debit is set to the right amount to minimise the risk of having a debit balance or a high credit balance on your account. We do apologise if this came across as though you needed to justify your reasons for applying. We can assure you that this is not the case. This is just to ensure that we start your account off on the right foot.

Effortless switch over to renewable energy
Really simple to get a quote for the different tariffs on offer (2 at the time of writing). Clear pricing and an effortless switch. The transfer should take place in 21 days but so far so good. I've already received a welcome email with tariff details and confirmation of my payment details. If only all utility companies were this easy to deal with.
