My daughter had the most amazing experience with her high school group on this tour. Every day was filled with activities, adventures and learning opportunities! Their journey through Costa Rica was exceptional!

Our daughter enjoyed the activities....just not the lodging options...especially a glamping facility after a long day of activities.

Alonso was the best tour guide. He was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He brought the country to life and made the experience enjoyable. He showed us the culture taught us the meaning of Pura Vida and showed us animals we had only seen on tv or books. He did an amazing job managing a large group of adults and kids with many different personalities and taste. Even if things did not go as planned he was always calm and handled every situation. Which was amazing when you are dealing with a bunch of teenagers who dont always like to follow the rules. Overall this company provided a safe environment for us to travel internationally. The chose activities that provided the most value for the country we visited. I would definitely recommend EF!!
Learning about the culture and seeing the different cities was great. Tour guide Edgar was amazing and patient and knowledgeable. Packing list needs to include wash clothes and hotels need to be handicap accessible. Best hotel was La Palma.
From start to finish, it was a positive experience! The payment plan kept it affordable, and the tour of Costa Rica was fun, educational, adventurous, and amazing. Ziplining, kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, tours, - it was all amazing!
The bus driver was great the guide was phenomenal!

My grand daughter had a wonderful experience. As a parent, I was at ease and confident in the teachers (chaperones) and the tour guide assigned to them. Gratefully, there were no hiccups!
This itinerary was amazing. We crammed so much in our week in Costa Rica! The guides for all of the excursions were the BEST! They were all so charismatic and entertaining. They included the kids and made the simplest things engaging. The hotels were pretty good for the most part, and the food was pretty good. Our guide, Victor, was the cherry on top. I couldn't have asked for a better week or a better schedule. My kids were blown away! :)
Everything about this trip was wonderful! We learned so much and visited such beautiful places.
The activities, minus snorkeling, were all great (terrible equipment, beach launched from was not eligible for the kids to swim at per EF rules and there are not facilities to rinse off or use a toilet.) The lodging all needs to be improved and not located over an hour or more away from the central places we visited. The kids had a great time, as an adult there was a lot that could have been improved.
