As a parent, I found the whole process seamless and organized. I never worried or wondered.
I've been traveling with EF since 2009 and this was the fourth time doing this particular tour. Every time I've done it we have seen and learned different things. Well paced, with a good balance of activities and free time.
Such a great experience for my daughter at a reasonable price.
Fabio encouraged the students to take it all in and try to experience as much as possible.
Overpriced for the value we received. It was cheap hotel rooms and poor flight times and choices. One hotel did not have hot showers. We arrived home at 2am due to late flight times selected. The tour guide was good. It felt like a budget tour at a premium price.
As an experienced traveler, the trip was mediocre.
Full of culture, people, and history! So much fun and very educational.
It's Italy, so you can't go wrong.

Vatican & Sistine chapel/ Colosseum are a must in Rome, they were both unforgettable
Poor planning on travel arrangements! How is it that EF Tours planned a 7.5 hour layover on the way there and an 8 hr bus trip home with only a $15 voucher for the inconvenience??? Very shameful!
My students had an excellent experience between our tour guide, bus driver, hotels, and meals, they were ready to explore the cities and pushed the boundries of their comfort zones. Every single person came home a better traveler with a new understading of the world, and of course new friends.

The cities we saw were great. There were some times we could have used more free time and other times where I felt like we needed a little more guidance. Also, I'm not sure how the hotels are selected... we had one that was not a great experience!!

Safe, educational, well-organized - my daughter had a once in a lifetime experience she will always cherish!
Considering the price we paid for this trip, we expected much more. The food and hotels provided were mediocre at best. Italy was beautiful but I'll never use EF Tours again.
Overall, a good trip. Our guide and driver were amazing, and we saw a lot in a relatively short time. The scheduling in Rome was poor, however, we wasted half a day in Vatican City waiting for St. Peter's to open, then most of what we came to see was under scaffolding or inaccessible due to maintenance ahead of the 2025 Jubilee Year. Also, the lack of A/C in most hotels we used was very uncomfortable in the middle of a very hot Italian summer.
Not my cup of tea. If I would have been more informed what what the days are actually like I would not have wasted my vacation for this year on this trip.
