It was so wonderful to give my daughter this experience. I was confident that EF and Group Leaders were going to do their best to provide her with the best possible experiences and it was incredible. Her group leader was the perfect person for this role in supporting this group of teens both individually and as a whole group.
I am the mom of a student that went on this amazing trip. I was very nervous but I am so glad I did not let my fears get in the way of this wonderful experience. The information was all there, the constant communication eased my mind giving my child an experience of a life time. I would highly recommend to anyone that was interested in doing this. Thank you.
The trip was amazing. The local guides were knowledgeable and really helped explain the culture and history of the place we visited. The tour director was fantastic. We were kept busy and saw so many things yet also had plenty of down time as well.
This trip was an amazing experience for my students. Italy is beautiful, the people are friendly and it’s the birthplace of European culture and history. EF has the whole experience planned perfectly so we just had to go along with our itinerary and enjoy!
The EF tour experience had its positives and negatives. We chose it because of the educational focus for young adults/teens instead of just a tour for sight-seeing. For the price point, I don't think the trip was a good value or provided the opportunities we hoped for. The tour leaders were very kind and thoughtful. There was a lot of in-land travel from place to place and long layovers that took up valuable time on a short trip. The hotel choices weren't great (clogged showers overflowing into room; stained old carpets and linens; no wifi, etc) The meals that were included were not good, especially for being in a country known for incredible food! No amazing Italian meals were consumed unfortunately. While in Florence, some of the key cultural and educational spots were not visited nor was there time allowed to get to those places. The teens were given a bit too much free time especially in the hotels unsupervised and without direction. For the cost, we would look at a different type of trip in the future.

In regards to the hotels, this does not sound like the EF Tours standard for cleanliness and we will take a look into this - thank you again for taking the time to provide these details. Unforgettable experience
Would have liked things to be focused less on extremely touristy destinations, but overall, quite the amazing experience
Terrible accommodations and meals provided! The luggage was lost and at the Rome airport for 4 days EF refused to pick it up. Hotels were bug filled . Very disappointed as a mother of a child on the tour I would highly not recommend.

We are sorry to hear the tour wasn't excellent. Unfortunately airlines won't allow anyone who is not the owner of the luggage to pick up the bags. We do appreciate the feedback about the hotels and meals - we have passed this along to our Traveler Support manager to review.
