This was a great itinerary and I am so happy with every single day's plan, tour, hotel, and meals!! Truly a once in a lifetime experience!
Great experience.
I like the different places we went to. The villages/towns. I loved the castles and churches. They were beautiful. Now when I watch House Hunters International, I can say, I’ve been there!
The tour guide was amazing. Some of the hotels were definitely not as good as I expected. The food was also very underwhelming. We had to spend extra money just to feed ourselves at times because the dinners were so bad!
The chaperone failed to watch over my child and his friends. He treated it as a vacation with his wife (who was the group leader). In the course of the trip my son was physically searched for stealing (which turned out to be false), and lost his passport in the process. The Group leader organized a trip to recover the passport and then charged me $200 for their inconvenience. If the chaperone had been with the students in the gift shop, none of this would have happened. My child and his friends were also left unsupervised for entire days to roam Germany alone.
We had a great time! Snowball and snowman on Mt. Pilatus, lots of gelato and got to see and experience a lot! I know everyone really enjoyed the trip. Beate was GREAT!!!

Great experience! One piece of feedback is to provide more specific details in stops and itinerary before hand.
While the itinerary listed several sites, we did not "tour" them. Rather, we hopped off the bus and were told we had 20 minutes to explore, basically enough time to take a few photos and nothing more.This was the case while in Munich for Nymphenburg Palace, Olympic Stadium, Residenz, Marienplatz, Munich Cathedral, New Town Hall, and Hofbräuhaus. We were given 2 hours afterwards to "explore on our own." Had I known this would be the case, I would have done research ahead of time to go back to the sights I wanted to tour and not just snap a photo and move on. I had assumed we would actually go inside the Nymphenburg Palace and Neuschwanstein. Had I known we would not, I might not have booked this tour in the first place. EF Tours should be up front with this. Let travelers know if the itinerary says you will "see" a particular sight, know that is all you will do, you will not "tour" it. Additionally, I would suggest letting travelers know exactly where you will be leaving them to "explore on their own" so they can plan accordingly. Had I known I would be released to explore on my own at the Marienplatz, I would have researched how to get back to the Nymphenburg Palace via public transport (it would have been a 6.3 km walk) so I could have paid the entrance fee and gone inside. All in all, I enjoyed the trip. I hope EF takes into consideration my suggestions.

Outstanding choices
It was amazing viewing the surrounding countries, hearing the history and experiencing GOD's creation in the Alps. So many breathtaking views: all the walking got me in good shape! The castles and the gardens are spectacular. The countryside and architecture of the buildings are just so much to breathe in; photos do not do it justice. You have to go and see with your own eyes!
