This was our first trip with EF tours and it was amazing. Our tour guide Beate was great! We saw beautiful historic places in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland. Hotels did not have A/C, but they were comfortable with windows open. Food was a nice mix of traditional German food as well as the basics (spaghetti). We plan to travel with EF again!

My son had such a wonderful experience and will have special memories for a lifetime! The ease of the process and getting things taken care before during and after the trip on the website was AMAZING and the reminders of what was needed to ensure that everything was taken care of to make it a seamless experience were the best!

My daughter had an incredible trip that was well-paced and full of activities. She made friends from all over the country, as her group was joined by a few others during their adventure.

EF Tours made booking this trip easy and answering any questions that came up leading up to the trip. A group member lost a bag and they worked with our tour leader and tour guide to get that bag back to its owner promptly.

Outstanding tour in the Bavarian Alps. Our tour guide Petar Ljubic was friendly, personable, and inviting from the moment we met at the airport! He did a phenomenal job of keeping us on track and finding cool experiences in each of the cities we visited. Our group of 12-50+ yo loved our tour and looks forward to our next one!

From dreamy historic villages, castle ruins, and snow caped Alps this adventure was the most memorable adventure my daughter and me have ever had. Our tour guide was the best, he was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the trip and his sense of humor was infectious! EF Tours did a wonderful job planning free time for us to explore and sightsee, not to mention all the amazing local cuisine! We hope someday to go back to Germany and the Alps, it was that beautiful! We are already looking into our next trip with EF Tours.

Such a beautiful part of this world! They packed SO many things into their nine days in Germany and Switzerland. So happy my daughter got to have this experience.

This was my first tour with students and with EF. What wile saw was great, but we were often rushed from one thing to the next, so more time in the schedule to really absorb each place would have been good.

Very quick experience in some places. Would have liked a bit more time in Heidelberg, but overall— such an interesting place. 10 out of 10 for the salt mines and 100 percent would recommend the Mt. Pilatus experience.

Two of the hotels were horrible. In general, the dinners were horrible. Not enough learning took place. We were under the impression that this was a learning experience. Free time was either too short or too long in most cases. Would have been better off just doing something.

The overall process was smooth; however STRONGLY suggest families with students who have diet limits to reconsider and ask EF, chaperones how will this be handled. The days are VERY busy and Germany / EF didn't handle enough food options, kids were VERY hungry and those who are vegetarian or in our case, we had a rare 'gelatin' allergy which is a preservative in the meats so our child was very weak. We ended up having to call a medic as she was faint. Luckily, was at end of the trip, however EF wasn't very helpful --the amazing chaperones/fellow students were fabulous. Strongly suggest EF re-evaluate the quantity of food and if U.S. students are going, families request more variety of food as the countries DO OFFER, but EF didn't provide. Most of the kids lost weight especially as there wasn't enough food or good options to provide sustenance: boiled vegetables isn't a high calorie option without any protein.
