One of my students experienced a minor heat stroke. Luckily, I was able to handle the situation based on my prior training and experience. However, EF needs to do a better job of providing safety training and ensuring electrolytes are readily available to students during these extremely hot summer trips.

The cooking class in Rome!!

My child complained that most accommodations were sketchy at best. She stated the hotels were more like hostels and the river boat was dirty. If the option is to charge more for better accommodations, let’s do that. The guides were good. She stated she could have skipped the Parthenon and the food at the Greek night was subpar.

From beginning to end, this trip was far more than sightseeing—it was a true cultural immersion that created memories she will carry with her for the rest of her life. The students were actively engaged in every aspect of the journey through interactive activities, scavenger hunts, historical exploration, cultural performances, and hands-on learning opportunities that brought history and world cultures to life in a way no classroom ever could. One of the highlights was the outstanding leadership of our tour guide, Fani. She was knowledgeable, organized, energetic, and genuinely invested in making sure every student had a meaningful experience. Her passion for the destinations and their history was evident every day, and she helped transform each stop into an unforgettable learning opportunity. The students visited remarkable sites, including ancient monasteries and the Vatican, attended cultural performances, experienced local traditions, and were immersed in the rich history and customs of each destination. Every activity was thoughtfully planned and contributed to a deeper understanding of the places they visited. As a parent, there is no greater joy than seeing your child return home inspired, more confident, and eager to share everything she learned. My daughter came home with a broader understanding of the world, a deeper appreciation for different cultures, and countless stories that she still talks about every day. As a single parent, making a trip like this possible requires significant planning, sacrifice, and trust. Seeing the positive impact it had on my daughter made every bit of that effort worthwhile. The educational value, personal growth, and unforgettable experiences she gained far exceeded my expectations. I am extremely grateful to EF Tours, to the educators who made this opportunity possible, and especially to Fani for her exceptional guidance and dedication. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that my daughter will cherish forever. I sincerely hope more students are given opportunities like this in the future because the value of educational travel is truly immeasurable. Thank you for helping create memories, friendships, and lessons that will last a lifetime.

It was ok. Could have been scheduled better. The walking tours are long and get very boring.

The experience was awesome and very educational. My daughter is looking forward to the next one

The experience was very amazing for the connection of the past to the present, and also the use of three different means of transportation. It was not only the monuments per se, but also the contrast of the ancient, the contemporary, and the current history. Having the chance to dance, taste, and walk through those crowded places that mean too much in terms of cultural heritage is indeed a unique, lifetime experience for young travelers, teachers, and parents.

First time traveling to these countries. Could have spent less time in Athens. The mountains and scenery were beautiful and I loved visiting the monestary. Visiting the Oracle of Delphi was ok but I don't know if I would take a whole day for that. The ferry ride was on a very nice ferry, but kind of disappointing that we spent a whole day on it. I would have probably liked visiting more places in Italy and not gone to Greece, if I had a choice. Italy was amazing but we were only there for 3 1/2 days. Loved Florence and Rome. So much to see every direction I looked. Loved going to Vatican City and seeing the Pope. Top of list!

This was the second trip that my kids took with EF, and they continue to impress with their organization and efficiency. Best tours for the value out there! And even when a blizzard in the Northeast posed significant delays in returning home, EF went above and beyond with their crisis management team and managed to get everyone home safe with minimal delays. Well done!

Greece and Italy is a fantastic itinerary! My students absolutely loved the time in Athens and Meteora, the relaxed and welcoming nature of Greece, the cats everywhere you looked, and the food in both countries. The Greek Evening was a highlight, and so was the cooking class in Rome!

Each day was full of area highlights with down time for shopping, dining, taking in the individual places. Accommodations were made for dietary needs and tour preferences. Both tour guide and accompanying teacher took time to get to know each student. My daughter said she had "the time of her life."

All tours for site seeing were great. Too much down time and long bus rides. Ferry boat was not a great experience.
