Don’t waste your money.
Greece was more beautiful than I imagined! We particularly loved the Meteora Region - such a great place to explore. The scenery, art, and history surrounding us in Italy added so much to the experience. This is a great tour!
Enjoyed it very much (would have like a little bit more down time in afternoon -- tours were very long.
Amazing experience! My son had a wonderful trip. Only complaint was the ferry from Greece to Italy was too long and felt it took time away from visiting sights.
The tour/cities and guide were great. The 12 days are jam packed. The best part was the free time to shop and explore. We needed more free time in Madrid. The food needs a major upgrade and the hotels EF uses in the future should be 3-4 stars as opposed to 2-3 star quality. The boat ride from Greece to Italy was long and uncomfortable but there’s nothing EF can do about that. Overall a good experience and I would potentially do it again.
I recently returned from an incredible EF tour through Greece and Italy with a group of students and families from my school, and I can honestly say it was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. From the initial planning stages to our return home, EF made the process smooth, organized, and enjoyable. Our tour director, Dario, was exceptional. His energy, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the places we visited made every day memorable. He was well-prepared, communicated clearly, and advocated for our group whenever needed. Whether it was resolving minor hotel issues or adjusting the pace of the day based on our group’s needs, Dario handled everything with skill and warmth. His ability to speak Greek, Italian, and English was a huge asset, and he made all of us feel welcome and supported. The itinerary was a fantastic blend of history, culture, and fun—from ancient ruins in Athens and Delphi to the beauty of Florence, Rome, and the Vatican. EF’s accommodations, meals, and travel logistics were all handled with care, allowing me to focus on the experience and on guiding my students. I’m grateful to EF for creating such a meaningful and stress-free travel opportunity. This trip strengthened our group’s bond, opened students’ eyes to the world, and gave us memories that will last a lifetime. I would absolutely recommend EF to any educator looking to lead a tour abroad.
Very beautiful countries
Absolutely loved this experience. Our guide was the best . I personally think this is the only ay to travel so you don't miss anything. We could not have seen or done everything we did if we had tried this on our own!

Great Experience: Food was just ok
Most amazing trip
My child went on this trip with Logann from JFK. She was awesome. Her group went with 2 other groups . In the Virginia group there were more adults then students.I had thought these trips were designed for students. Some of those parents had inappropriate choice of words. My mistake , anyways getting to the point. There was a couple of adult chain smokers on this trip which the group had to endure. The EF tour guide (female) I am sure you can pull up her name. We were told there would be NO alcohol drinking at all. To start with the tour director consumed a lot of alcohol and was intoxicated. Good example for the other adults to follow so they also got intoxicated. This was NOT at all okay for young impressionable teenagers to see nor put up with. There was not a variety of foods for the students to try , bread and more bread. The trip was go go no time to enjoy the down time and relax. Everything was bunched together. My child was not very happy when arriving home. Disappointed in the EF group leader.
We had a wonderful tour director that handled all the issues that arose during the trip. The EF team made planning the trip easy and they provided materials such as posters and flyers to help generate interest in the tour.
Our tour guide, Athaniasos was simply the best ever!!! He made sure we had a great experience.

This trip hit all the big and main spots in Greece and Italy. The kids had fun and learned a lot.
