We had a great experience with EF tours. My son had a trip of a lifetime and truly enjoyed his tour. Dmitri, the tour guide was with the group from day one to the end and was a great asset to the group!
Never again! Hotels in the middle of nowhere, no food, “hotel” with bedbugs then refused to move to a different location, mold under beds on a ferry, a/c not working in hotels that had it, no towels in rooms, and that’s just part of the issues. For the money paid for this trip, I could have booked a much nicer trip for the same price.
We were told our daughter's allergies would not be an issue for this tour (peantus and tree nuts). This tour is not accommodating to food allergies. Pack your own food. My daughter missed every dessert and half of the dinners but we still had to pay the same price. Another traveler in her group had four different allergic reactions due to the food not being allergen-safe as promised. In addition, we were told the flights would be able to make accommodations for allergies. We were told they don't serve nuts as snacks on the flights. This is a flat-out lie. The first international flight had peanuts as the snack and the back-up snack was cashews. She was also told she could not eat any of the meals while in flight. She had to pack food for the 10-hour flight. The last place the tour stayed for two nights was university housing. It was bug and bed bug infested. I called EF and asked for help. They said they would call back when the situation was resolved. I never got a call back and the situation was never resolved. The kids slept on the floor and the parents slept in the lobby. The staff at the location denied bugs even with VIDEO evidence. They also took all of the kids' and adults' blankets and towels, including personal blankets brought from home. They closed the customer service counter when they saw the tour group coming so they wouldn't have to help them. We should be offered a refund for these nights. EF had no back-up plan for this event.

I’ve been a chaperone in the past, and this was my second trip as a Group Leader; I must admit this is one of the best EF trips I’ve ever had.
The trip was phenomenal. My son had some many great experiences and learning opportunities. The tour guide was amazing. Everything was detailed and easy.
My daughter had the worst trip ever. The adults on the trip were very immature.
Was really well done. Our daughter had a great time and the chaperones kept the kids safe and on time.
We had a fantastic time and Yota was an amazing guide through Italy and Greece.

Traveling with EF to Greece and Italy was a breeze. Everything was arranged and hiccups were handled without interruption to my trip. The EF bus guides were friendly and helpful, the EF local guides were knowledgeable, and we got into some tours that "regular tourists" don't get the opportunity to do.
My daughter came back in love with Greece and Italy!
Greece and Italy are both beautiful countries with so much history!
Overall, this was a very good trip. The tour director was well-informed, kind, considerate, and funny. The students and adults enjoyed the trip. Excursions were good. We were a bit disappointed with the choice of the catacombs we went to, and would have liked some more time at the Vatican Museum. The night ferry was a big problem, and I would recommend requesting a flight instead of the ferry.
I enjoyed Athens but not any of the other places in Greece. It was too much travel time on the bus!! I would have preferred staying in Athens, Florence & Rome longer and really getting to enjoy those. We ate at too many gas stations and grab quick places!! We also did not have air the last 2 nights in Rome and had to sleep with the windows open! It would have been nice to have an option to move or to be notified ahead of time. No fans were provided to help with air circulation!!

Our EF tour of Italy & Greece did not disappoint! Stella & Julio were awesome! Everything was handled, we just needed to have fun & take in al the sights. I would absolutely use EF Tours again.
Most of the trip was great! Too much traveling across Greece. Less activities would be ideal.
