It was great to see both Paris and many other beautiful places in other towns.
Son had an amazing trip and the guides were wonderful.
We traveled 2 hours to Chambord only to find out that it closed due to the heat wave. Backup plan was to walk around Tours. I enjoyed the viewing the other chateaux and Loire Valley towns over the next day or so, but doing it with 50 other people in your group is obnoxious for everyone - the tour group itself and the poor villagers who have to deal with us. It was truly embarrassing at times. My experience increased when I was on my own with friends and could interact with the townspeople and experience things spontaneously and on my own terms.
This trip is what you expect as a tourist. You visited all the big attractions. It was busy and crowded. The guide was friendly but with such a big group (75 kids) it was hard to hear at the back of the group. Lots of shopping build in. You did not get to really experience Purisan life.
What a beautiful tour. Great sites great food. There are several two to three hour bus rides just be ready for them.
I enjoyed seeing the different sights and we had a good tour guide.
It was great. So fun
Excellent tour locations.
Beautiful and memorable. Love the history and the beauty. City of Paris was not what I expected as it was very busy but love the rest of France and the Country beautiful buildings and Chateaux’s.
Too much activity packed into arrival day in Paris. Additionally, hotels were average, and I was disappointed that we didn't stay in Paris city center.
My child had a wonderful experience and loved her tour guide, Emmanuelle
Very interesting
I loved the Emanuel the tour guide, the hotels could be better.
Our tour guide, Emmanuel was exceptional! The first day there was too much. And I do wish we had a little more free time.
Great travel experience for my teen to help him learn about other cultures and get practice traveling independently.
Great time and easy to have everything together for travel and felt safe and had saw so much!
None of the tours were guided except one. Without the guide, we were left to fend/explore by ourselves. With no info/education at what we were looking at. The included breakfasts were subpar. No variety. At the included dinners, we were sat in hot basements majority of the time. Drinks were not included, and the price to order a soft drink was double the regular price outside the establishment, and what was given was a cup half full. Did not justify the high price. The food was not typical of Parisian food. We missed out on experiencing real, local food. Instead, we were given and served like a busy high school cafeteria. Only two of the hotels were nice. The rest were no better than a motel 6. France was experiencing a heat wave and the A/C in the hotels were a hit or miss. One of the main excursions on the itinerary, Versailles, was cancelled due to “closure”, I called the number listed on website to confirm closure and was told they were not closed. They closed a room but the rest was open to visit. In lieu of Versailles we were taken to a perfume shop. Entrance to that excursion was free. I do not believe that was a comprable exchange. I reached out to EF for refund of Versailles ticket. Was told no.
Tour cancelled for Versailles, did not get reimbursed for it. Luggage was misplaced from London Heathrow to LAX.
Great experience, lots of exploring!
