This was a fun , fast-paced trip! Definitely worth it.

Italy is beautiful and amazing. Our Guide was excellent, and the hotels were clean and safe, yet quite far from the places that we were visiting. The itinerary was busy but still allowed for some much-needed free time to really see the sights. We were dazzled by the art and history of the places that we were able to spend some time in, and could have really used a longer tour to really experience some of the sights. At the end of our tour, we were grouped in a hotel, essentially in a strip mall, which had its pros and cons. It was nice to finally be near an open grocery store, but we shared a floor with a middle school trip whose students essentially ran up and down the halls until it was time to be in their rooms. It's important to note that several of the lunches "on our own" were just Autogas stations on our way to the next city, which made it a bit tricky for our more conservative eaters.

Fantastic - one part that wa missed let us get or pay for dinner on own

EF tends to end its tours with a significantly nicer hotel than the ones at front of the tour. I would like to see them provide the same higher quality hotel for the entire trip.

The food in Italy was bad. This has a knock-on effect that threatens the safety of the students. Here is a real-life example of what happened on our tour more than once. Approximately ten (10) students did not like the food at dinner on our first night. Consequently, they did not eat. The curfew I gave them was 10:00PM that night. Since they were hungry however, they ordered McDonald's and had Uber Eats deliver. They then told me the delivery would not be until 11:00PM. I certainly was not about to let them go hungry, so I extended their curfew to 11:30PM although I know for sure that they were all up until at least midnight. Here's the result: I now have 16, 17, and 18 year-olds who are out of their rooms in a hotel until midnight. That is a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. So once again, I repeat my initial sentence (which I never thought I would say or type in 1,000,000 years). The food in Italy was bad.

No clarity in the package on what is included, and a lot of line items with the cost after the sign-up.

My son had an amazing experience on his EF tour of Italy! He greatly enjoyed visiting Venice, Rome, and Florence. Each day was action packed and provided my son with great learning opportunities on the beautiful history and culture of Italy. The tour was well organized, the tour guide great, and he came home with priceless memories. He is ready to go on another EF trip!

My daughter had an amazing experience!

Venice and Florence are a good way to start an Italian tour. They are so picturesque and so much smaller that it is easy to navigate on your own. Then when we get to Rome, we can appreciate its history and grandeur, even with the crowds. We took the extension to Perugia and Assisi, which was perfect to get to end in the smaller towns where students could confidently navigate on their own. The end of the trip was Marmore Falls which was spectacular. The best way to end a trip in the great outdoors. It was memorable.

This tour was jammed packed with meaningful experiences. We got to see so many things each day, and we loved the water taxi and gondola rides in Venice.
